In other news, CBS cuts a program that was losing millions of dollars every year.
I still remember the old days when CBS showed reruns and old movies after the late local news. They didn't even have a Late Show until David Letterman got screwed over by Jay Leno's team.

The very first time I turned on Stephen Colbert was early in his tenure. He had been on a couple of months and I thought I'd check out the show and see if he could be an entertaining late-night option.
I made it about 3 minutes in, and after the 2nd or 3rd mean spirited "joke" attacking Republicans I turned it off.
Fitting that with this final episode of Colbert's run, I can honestly say that I never watched a full show of his. Not one show.
He will not be missed.

Stephen and Dave threw a whole bunch of stuff off the roof together last week!
Man, I never watched it, but back when Colbert and Fallon were announced as the new hosts of their respective shows; I remember thinking Colbert would do way better. Never been a huge fan of Fallon. If you told me how this all would end, I would have been shocked.
