I didn't need his endorsement to vote for Paxton, but I'm glad he did
Get Cornyn out!

And all the other RINO's and establishment types that only care about themselves and the party instead of conservativism.

Massie on his way out and Randy will be next.

Uh, those guys are the opposite of Cornyn. Fail.

Paxton would never suck up and side with Democrats like RINO Massie

It's telling that you used the word "Republican" instead of "conservative".

Politics is a team sport and if you constantly vote against your team, that's a problem

I bet Senator Ted Cruz is pissed. Puts him in a tight spot and awkward light.

Sorry, I hold my candidates responsible for their actions.
If more people did, our govt might actually be "for the people" again instead of a lifetime appointment to grift the citizenry.
Paxton probably can make a presentable brisket. So he's got that going for him, I guess.

If he didn't care, he wouldn't offer his public endorsement. There is a lot of political, professional and personal thought that goes into an endorsement, especially at the US Senate level. Plus, if he has thoughts of possible appointments by Trump, he has to be scratching his head or hopefully had a prior discussion with Trump.

Well, since Paxton and Cornyn are our only choices in this runoff election…..which one are you voting for to be our choice in the November election?
I'm voting for Paxton, and I value your commentary as a long time TexAg member.
TIA

Agreed, but good luck getting that to sink in with certain posters.
They were offered a chance to save Cornyn by passing the SAVE Act. They didn’t take it seriously. Now they get to live in the reality they chose. https://t.co/WMmilnd9CP

Tbf, Paxton is a perfect representative of what the GOP has become.
Cornyn is the old GOP. That old GOP is mostly gone. Its few remnants are dwindling in numbers and dying off.
I have worked closely with President Trump through both of his Presidential terms and voted with him more than 99% of the time. He has consistently called me a friend in this race. It is now time for Texas Republican voters to decide if they want a strong nominee to help our GOP…
