I wonder if she has properly filed the gifts she has received? Also, wouldn't $9000 of free tickets be taxable? I wonder if she paid income taxes on the gifts?

Also…she said she is going to have a statement…any guesses on when that will be released?

It'll be another statement. I think this will be her 3rd or 4th.
I highly doubt she will be able to admit her mistakes.

Or he could have been right there, standing on the dirt.
Until they got thrown out.

She has the county suite to use. If you buy chute tickets you get seats above the chutes and you get to go down onto the dirt to watch the concert. But my guess is no other county judge would be turned away from taking people down there...lol
I think at some point the folks at Rodeo Houston had to put their foot down when it comes to a public official mooching from what amounts to a scholarship fund. She got enough. $9,000 worth of tickets… for free. If you listen to the recording, she had already indicated that she wanted to come another five nights and bring five people with her… how many tens of thousands of dollars does she think she's entitled to because of her position as a "public servant"? The woman has no shame and no sense of propriety.
And keep in mind that she is not asking for those thousands of dollars in free stuff from a for profit company. She is asking to take those free things from a group raising money for scholarships for kids. Every ticket they give her instead of selling is money taken directly out of the scholarship funds.

She requested enough free tickets to nearly fund an entire scholarship for a kid. And a lot of that money goes to inner city Houston kids who've been dealt a bad hand in life and are doing their damn well best to go to college and escape the situation they grew up in. Then this ****waffle has the gall to get all uppity about not being able to get onto the dirt because she didn't have the proper credentials. Instead of apologizing for acting like an entitled ****, she doubled down. If she has any tickets to future shows, I hope HLSR pulls her tickets and tells her she's no longer welcome. She can **** right off.

Local elections are important, folks.
Remember to vote all the way down the ballot in November.
Rodney Ellis has built a large and effective harvesting operation in Houston. Until the state steps in and forces them to tighten up their controls, no R is going to win a county wide race in Harris County.
I wound bet no R is going to win there regardless of harvesting. R's aren't going to win races in big blue counties simply due to math. You will have occasional outliers and that's it.
Although Houston was Democrat, Harris County was red until the election where Dora came in. That was the Beto election where Democrats got a lift from the fake Irish Mexican. Democrats won almost every county office. The "Black Girl Magic Judges" came out of that election. Since the Democrats got control of running elections, Republicans have had little chance of winning.
I hear you but regardless of why I doubt R's will ever be back in power there. All of big urban counties are toast at this point. No recovering from it.

Rodney Ellis jury rigged Harris County to always be democrat.
