He was all about Bill Maher and their "great meeting" last year after Maher was complimentary. Now that Maher has apparently said something to offend Trump he goes off another ridiculous rant. I voted for Trump.......3 times. But damn I am getting tired of him, or at least tired of very "non presidential" acts like this.

As has been the case for the last 10 or so years, it is clear that the man simply cannot help himself.

How can one be so rich and powerful yet so insecure?

When we have Democrats who routinely say asinine things, when Democrats are allowed to spew lies and never be called to the carpet on their lies, when Democrats are allowed to foment actual insurrection while claiming a bunch of old fogies being allowed into the Capitol to take some photographs and put feet on desks while carrying no weapons (pretty much requirement #1 for an insurrection) ... I am allowed to say IDGAF what hurt feelings Trump might be saying online.

Here's something you TDS people just can't seem to grasp.

Most of us who support him, support him because of his POLICIES.

Obviously, he's an egotist, he's thin-skinned, and he can't stand not to constantly be praised and take credit for everything.

So what? Who cares? Ignore it.

His policies and implementation thereof are the best in my lifetime, and I'm in my sixth decade.

You don't have to be his friend or sit down and have drinks with him. He doesn't know who you are.

But he's making your life better and this country a hell of a lot stronger.

It's never coming back. And it shouldn't. Raiding former presidents' houses made sure of that.

I just hope too many people don't have "Trump administration fatigue" when 2028 rolls around. We really need those guys to continue the progress but Trump is going to continue to run his mouth and risk losing every gain he's made.

I too voted for Trump 3x. IMO he was the best candidate in all three elections. This said, I'd never want him for a neighbor or friend. I'm just not impressed by him as a person.

Good thing he's not your neighbor or friend. You get your wish.

Now let's talk about how he's running the country and his leadership on the global stage.

THAT, you do have to live with.

And he's done the best job of any president, including Reagan, in my lifetime

Eventually Trump's ego won't be able to live with the rise of Vance or Rubio. My prediction is someday he will undermine them so as to appear to be the top dog forever. He won't care what happens to the country, just Trump.

Agree, but that's a very low standard.

He can act better than that. The problem with acting like a petulant jerk is it turns away the marginal voter from the R party and hurts us in upcoming elections. It's not just a thing where it only impacts him... it affects us too.

He'll never change. And some folks won't stop calling him out for it either.

Yes, but we get a lot of folks who lose sight of the ball and then go vote for the party they supposedly have nothing in common with simply because they want the noise to stop. Thus, cutting off their nose to spite their face.

It's partially why Biden won in 2020. I know many R's who voted for Biden because of the sentiment I read in this thread. I get being tired of him and wanting the next Republican in place now,but a lot of dumbasses will go vote Democrat next time around because of mean tweets.

Y'all don't be one of those dumbasses.

It is worthwhile reading about "malignant narcissism". The preeminent experts in the field have been vocal about this for 10ish years.

I've never voted Dem and never will.

But I don't assign all the blame to those dumbasses either. Blaming voters is a weak position. Trump owns some of it too. That's why we're upset when he does that stupid ****. He doesn't get a pass just because he has a fragile ego.

Say something nice about Trump, and he'll say something nice about you. Say something mean about him and he'll trash you in public.

It has always been this way. Dems and concerned moderates expect old school Republicans to always be nice even while the Dems stab them in the back. Trump just isn't that way and they hate it.

Sure but when your alternative is someone with the stated intent to destroy the country then we don't have much choice. And those dumbasses still voted for Biden knowing he was an open borders policy advocate and a mentally incompetent person.
