The youth/Beto base didnt work for him. But going after the mom-crowd (more likely voters), being the good ole wholesome pastor guy...might gain some traction.

He's getting national attention/funding, and they'll pour a crap-ton of resources into him flipping the seat.

I think he'll fight an uphill battle, but I think he'll do better than expected and wouldnt rule him out.

Certainly can't rule anything out. But Beto also had the mom-crowd, and how many of Talarico's likely voters didn't already vote Allred against Cruz? Only this time, I think the younger Beto voters will be less motivated along with the Dem base who want someone more aggressive. He'll get some traction because of all the negative anti-Republican campaigning but I think he's being overhyped.

Problem is he has a LOT of video out there that will crush him and the ads have written themselves. Beto was out skateboarding at Whataburger and doing road trips where he talked about everyone working together and getting along with fun rallies that were basically big parties.
