Go to Saskatchewan, Manitoba, BC and Yukon Territory. Tell them we will support their split from Canada as a new country and are willing to give them some amazing sweetheart trade deals as our new Most Favored Neighbor. Offer them a similar deal as we give the Marshall Islands and other pacific territories a Compact of Free Association where they retain independence but in exchange for the sweet heart economic deal we get to have defense installations for the purpose of repelling China

Watch Carneys horror when he gets his C-P collapse but no country to rebuild into a communist tyranny

I think the response to Carney is to let Alberta and Seskatichwan know that there are incredibly beneficial and lucrative deals for them if they're outside the Canadian system. While Ontario does have some critical minerals like nickel and uranium and so mining the majority of what the US needs from Canada is in the form of oil and potash which nominally comes from those two provinces respectively. Secure those, give them proven, profitable markets and work with them on infrastructure projects to get their resources to market and Ottowa will be crying uncle.

No east-west transport links outside air. There are no highways, passanger or cargo rail links that are north of Alberta for instance. A cratering in their wealth transfer payments. A chance for those provinces to get their property ownership under control and out from under the crazy first nation crap that is infecting BC and could potentially spread. I'm not sure how long Quebec stays in a weakened Canada either. It's messy, but Carney and his ilk cannot be trusted.

One correction to your analysis. Saskatchewan is Canada's largest producer of uranium, producing nearly 100%. Alberta and Saskatchewan both leaving would be a huge blow to Canada by losing oil fields, potash, and uranium. These provinces also contribute much of Canada's agricultural production.

Quebec, Ontario, Newfoundland-Labrador, and Manitoba produce nickel and copper.

Canada is not a friendly country. They have gone so far left, they need to be considered a threat to western values and our way of life.

Id start with imposing a 1000% tax on the profits of Canadian based professional sports teams. Id follow that with a tax on lumber imports double the amount of subsidies they give to lumber suppliers.

Id also consider giving political asylum to conservative Canadians disillusioned with their govt.

Eh missing the objective here. Canada has a lot of resources we want. The only resources we need from them are oil/gas and potash. If Alberta and SK (I'm not spelling that) break off, the rest of Canada is really f'd. Ontario will literally beg to provide us anything because their gravy train will be completely cut. Frankly, Canada is basically a parasite outside of it's prairie provinces (AB, SK & MB).

That is the foreign policy objective with a really hostile Canada. And they will 100% attempt to collapse the potash and O&G exports to the US in a trade dispute which will come this summer. If I was in farming and I had the capital I'd have already locked in as much of my fertilizer as possible. Gonna be a bumpy summer for our northern border relations.

Youre probably right. That said, id still isolate Canada as much as possible. They're beyond the brink and taking self destructive actions of the sort that might harm us as well.

Canada ships the US more of their dollars for, well, the usual bs.

Trump signed for a new pipeline (using largely keystone xl infrastructure) to alberta. Meanwhile, Carney has promised over and over a July 21 trade resolution with the US which...is highly unlikely.

If we could get Greenland and Alberta, it's just a matter of time before we start filling in the blanks and get the rest of the territories to join (the non-French ones)

Hotair has a great piece on some cosmic karma for this lovely leftist royalty up there, who lost his seat/rider to a Bangladeshi candidate and is super pissed about it.

I highly encourage anyone wanting a chuckle to go read it.

Been a while since Canada made the news feed for me.

Not looking to renew it. I think notice of termination can drop in late July.

Carney looks to Canada early for help with Trump: CTH.
Quote:

Macron and Carney have one nemesis in common, President Donald Trump. Emmanuel Macron is famous for scheming subtle ways to overcome his own inadequacy, and hosting the G7 puts him in the spotlight. Mark Carney is coming back to Europe after previously giving a speech in Davos calling for a collective alignment of middle-economy nations to stand united against the terrible Trump.

There is little doubt the pontificating duo has any other topic other than Trump in their scheme and planning folder.

Factually the G7 is a joke now, with likely around 15 to 20 countries showing up. The G7 used to be the USA, France, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the U.K. Then they added the EU, which brings three more Brussels figureheads, and if the last G7 in Canada is any indication of the intention, there will likely be at least a dozen more showing up.

This G7 is deemed critical due to the issues of Iran and Ukraine, in combination with President Trump's international reset that has diminished the economic status of Europe significantly. Trump doesn't chase the climate change agenda, and that is another policy disconnect from the rest of the group.
Macron wants to avoid the G6+1 narrative that has come to define the assembly in the era of Trump because France needs to be seen as a coequal within the group. However, in reality in addition to the USA the only other country that matters in this new geopolitical framework is Japan; all other nations are a mess of globalist chaos, domestic political trouble and economy shrinking energy problems.

Spoiler alert; these two dunces won't come up with a winning strategy at all. US-Canada trade is over $1.1 trillion/year, and France-Canada is around $10 billion I read. Idiots on parade.

It looks like Carney has Canada well ahead of other countries in reaching new world order status. If other countries don't follow through soon, Canada will be the first country to reach the "you will own nothing and be happy [or be dead]" level. Other than Cuba, North Korea, Iran, and the other usual suspects.

Sort of forgot about the G7. That's a who's who of failing states. Agree Japan is all that matters from that group at this point. I might say Italy could be on the ascendant in that group if not for their recent denial of air space to us in the ME which was surprising.

Yes, it's mostly irrelevant but Trump departed for Paris for the meeting at 3am I saw (walked up the stairs to AF1) after the UFC event ended at 1am. I wonder if he did manage to sleep a few hours on the flight.

Meanwhile, Carney mocks Trump in anticipation of the meeting, pending negotiations (termination notice) on USMCA next month.

He's a special kind of idiot, who likes to demonstrate how dumb he is for the cameras consistently.

Their budget deficit has doubled under his watch fyi.

Silverado's will start living up to their advertising claims about being American, I guess. GM has had no problem selling these despite some engine problems, imho.

This is a shift from just August, based on Carney's idiotic politics.

Without tariff-free access to the US market Canadian auto production is going to plummet as contracts/models expire.

6 month termination notice letter has almost certainly already been drafted/signed, for delivery on the July 1 USMCA call.

This will mainly crush Eastern Canada, which is nice as that/Ottawa/Toronto/Montreal are the parts that are most hostile to America.

Yep, they are all nice to me, but can't help but making snide remarks about Trump whenever the oppty presents itself.

When should I tell them most Americans don't even know who their PM and we don't care since he's irrelevant?
