It has been years since I read the magazine. Was thinking of subscribing. Thoughts?

Oh no…….will some liberal articles make you guys go blind or something.
I love it. Regardless of political slant, it has some great articles about interesting places……history…..and the food reviews are awesome, even if I disagree with a few.

Take Texas Highways.
I quit reading Texas Monthly when the slant was not just liberal, but the writings seemed to have distain for Texas and called us all Bubbas- which in their eyes, we are buffoons.
Liberal articles are everywhere in mass media. Who the **** needs to read what a liberal thinks? I know what a woman is.aggiedent said:

Texas Monthly articles fall into 4 categories:
1. BBQ (occasionally tacos, too)
2. Willie Nelson
3. Larry McMurtry (or some other Texas author)
4. Favorable coverage of Beto O'Rourke, Colin Allred, James Talarico, or Jasmine Crocket (or all of the above).

I always love the writers' bylines too, after you read a subtly hateful article about motorcycle parks or gun ranges, like "Angelo was born in New York City and met his partner, Quantavious, while majoring in Gender Studies at Brown University. They got to Texas as quick as they could to raise their cats, George Floyd and Socks in a healthier climate."
