Arrests mean NOTHING to these lunatic losers. In fact it is a badge of honor. How many protestors did we see released the same day during most riots or protests? Thousands. Call me when they are prosecuted, sued, or jailed. Thus far the DOJ has done NOTHING. Next.
The danger to America is not Biden/Harris but a citizenry capable of entrusting them with the presidency. It will be easier to undo the follies of their ideas than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a pair for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Biden, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that put them in place to lead.

I hope that Lemon faces the music. But, I doubt he will, since he is from the protected class.

But, at this point, he can't say he did nothing wrong. Now he has to say he wasn't there participating, only there to be a journalist.

Better than nothing though. And, that is what a lot of people said would happen. Nothing.

Lemon's "I was just doing journalism" defense will probably hold up, but it shouldn't. You know from his statements both before and after the event that he supported what went down and feels no remorse whatsoever.

I wonder if they have any copies of emails/text messages he sent regarding his involvement?

Another vindictive, politically-motivated prosecution by this fascist administration. None of y'all actually believe that their actions constituted a felony, right?

Disrupting a church service to call out a pastor for blatantly going against the teachings of Christ cannot in good faith be categorized as "injuring, threatening, or intimidating someone to prevent them from exercising rights secured by the U.S. Constitution" for the purposes of 18 USC 241. If this somehow makes it to trial, there's practically zero chance they get convicted. The 2026 midterms can't come soon enough.

Wow.

Here is the law:
Quote:

(a)Prohibited Activities.Whoever
(1)
by force or threat of force or by physical obstruction, intentionally injures, intimidates or interferes with or attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person because that person is or has been, or in order to intimidate such person or any other person or any class of persons from, obtaining or providing reproductive health services;
(2)
by force or threat of force or by physical obstruction, intentionally injures, intimidates or interferes with or attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person lawfully exercising or seeking to exercise the First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship; or
(3)
intentionally damages or destroys the property of a facility, or attempts to do so, because such facility provides reproductive health services, or intentionally damages or destroys the property of a place of religious worship,
shall be subject to the penalties provided in subsection (b) and the civil remedies provided in subsection (c), except that a parent or legal guardian of a minor shall not be subject to any penalties or civil remedies under this section for such activities insofar as they are directed exclusively at that minor.

1) When you read that law above, are you honestly taking the position that the protestors did not do (a)(2)? At all? That it is so obvious that the protestors did not do (a)(2) that there should not even be a trail? Is that really your position? Do you think that is an intellectually honest position?

2) Do you realize that this law was passed in 1994 to protect Mosques from being harassed by individuals after the 1993 world trade center bombing? Would you support Westboro Baptist Church entering into a Masque and protesting their unequal treatment of women in the middle of their prayer time?

3) You do realize, don't you, that places of worship are the number 1 target of mass shootings in the United States, passing even schools? Did you know that there have been over 30 mass shootings in places of worship since 1997 where over 50 people are murdered? Don't you think that places of worship, like churches, Masques and Synagogues should have special protections since they are such vulnerable targets of mass murder?

Were you just ignorant of the law before you typed that post, or are you sticking to your guns and saying that these protestors did not " attempts to injure, intimidate or interfere with any person lawfully exercising or seeking to exercise the First Amendment right of religious freedom at a place of religious worship;" If that is not what happened, can you give an example of what WOULD be crossing the line where someone was trying to interfere with a person lawfully seeking to exercise their first amendment right of religious freedom in a place of religious worship?

I honestly want to understand how someone could hold the position you are trying to hold in that post.

Exactly, James Clapper would call that the "kill shot". Thank you

The Democratic Party leadership has used their power to
  • illegally use the IRS to attack conservative nonprofit organizations
  • illegally detained for over a year people who unknowingly violated trespassing laws on Jan 6th because Capital Police escorted them into the Capital.
  • Illegally attacked Michael Flynn to protect their insidious actions
  • Illegally attacked George Papadopoulos
Just a few of the crap the Democratic Party leadership has perpetrated on the American people.

Using their power of arresting people that have obviously broken laws to exaggerate that into your "Don't Tread on Me" analogy is disingenuous, faulty logic and dishonest.
When you stretch your examplr into "I am one of them" I seriously doubt you have participated in the illegal invasion of a church during worship services, at least I hope not.

Is there any way to charge the guy that crossed state lines in another court for related crimes? Is there any way to get venue outside of MN for this mess?

The Dems always have a judge…and a DA…and an AG…and a governor. That's why getting someone indicted, arrested, and convicted to a real consequence is just not what you should expect to see and then blame the administration. These crimes aren't happening in Suburban or rural Texas, places that the Dems have no help. There's a reason it's always in a blue area for these "mostly peaceful protests". What you need to put your efforts into is getting anyone you know that isn't a leftist out of those ****hole states and cities before it's too late. It's a fundamental issue with our current construct of government. It relies on ethical and moral behavior. The left no longer possesses such or they have so *******ized their social norms that not enforcing laws is now what is considered to be ethical and moral.

We simply are not built for that. We have checks on federal power over states and the courts that operate in those states and on the executive enforcement of laws in the states. Narrowly decided Printz v United States affirmed those checks, whether you like it or not, and left lots of power to the states regarding federal laws and such as they apply to state and local jurisdictions (its much more, but it comes up it seems when discussing what Feds can require of the states.

The answer is to make the states pay in other ways. Cut federal contracts with companies who are based in Minnesota. Defund federal programs. Delay funding of federal projects. Close all federal facilities including those at all airports. And step up federal law enforcement to a level where normal every day life seems to be such.

Minnesota, Walz, Frey and others are squarely in the wrong. But if they want this to be the first actions of a civil war then game on.

Apparently, even though they're getting arrested, several judges have been rejected may of the charges...

Quote:

In another example that has not been previously reported, Magistrate Judge Douglas Micko of the U.S. District Court in Minnesota on Tuesday rejected a complaint to arrest a St. Paul school board member, Chauntyll Louisa Allen, on federal charges of seeking to threaten or intimidate people from engaging in worship. The case stems from a Sunday-morning protest outside the St. Paul service at Cities Church, where protesters chanted "ICE out" and "justice for Renee Good," because they believed David Easterwood, acting director of the city's ICE field office, served as a pastor there.
Micko noted in his Tuesday rejection that he found no probable cause for such a claim against Allen; he did, however, grant a separate request from prosecutors allowing them to seek to charge Allen with the separate claim of conspiracy to make threats.

But, it looks like it's the same judge who wants to let Don Lemon off the hook...

Quote:

Micko also rejected a criminal complaint against journalist Don Lemon, who had followed protesters inside the church, which the Washington Post reported on Thursday.
