I once had an encounter with 6 armed police officers and I was armed. At 3am.

They were there to execute a legal arrest warrant and spoke to me. I told them the person they were looking for was in my house/ I was not happy about it and wanted to talk to them about the charges. They said that was for the courts and lawyers and they were there to do their job. Of note they had their hands on their weapons at my door but their weapons were not drawn.

They asked if they could speak to him and I said I would get him. They followed me inside my house.

They asked if I was armed and I said yes.

I did not at any time reach for my gun.

They asked if they could remove my gun and clear it. I said yes.

They removed it and cleared the weapon and set it down on the counter.

They asked if there were any more weapons and I said yes, but not in that room.

I then called to the person they were there for and asked them to come downstairs.

They then gave him instructions, he followed them, they cuffed him and led him outside. We then proceeded to have some more civil discussion about the process outside. They left and took him to the justice center and booked him.

I'm alive today. So is the person they arrested and all charges were eventually dropped with prejudice (meaning charges could not be brought again).

It's not that hard.

1) Arrests are up. A lot.
2) MN police are actually helping. Even making arrests in some cases.
3) ICE doesn't need as many people in MN if MN police are helping.
4) Fewer ICE and more arrests does not sound like a retreat, it sounds like Homan telling the MN officials that he is going to file conspiracy charges against them for coordinating riots if they don't stop assisting rioters and start arresting rioters.
5) ICE is needed in places other than MN. Let the deportations continue.

you conveniently left out the part that MN LEO are now cooperating with ICE to honor detainers and not releasing those back out into public.

For Minnesota police to actually do their job and get liberal fingers out of their ass and take out their own trash, seems to be a good ratchet job.
Seems cops would not want to allow destruction and taking away normal Minesota folks right to peaceful existence in the guise to embarrass Trump, in order to advance democrat party communism, Epic fail by Walrus and his Marxist buddies. They were "ratcheted up".
