The center puts out annual reports. They show a consist revenue line of around $250 Million in revenue and $45 million Federal Appropriations to maintain the place. Everything else was funneled out to maintain its non-profit status.

This was until recently where revenue has plunged through the floor because artists have cancelled en masse and almost every donor has stopped giving due to the political football nature of the place.

The $100 Million deficit is not on average but a the latest forecast due to all the changes to the place.

The money being raised for the renovations was going to come from Trump's fundraising for it.

It appears that if he can't get recognition for doing the work required to get the money, he won't do the work to get the money. If there's no money, there's no renovations, unless Congress allocates the money (which apparently the Judge is hung up on). NARRATOR: Congress will not act.
