Increasing the Income Tax does not tax the rich.
They are already rich & the fed cannot tax property (yet).

'Taxing the rich' only taxes those who are working to become rich..

We're not rich. But, we're also not poor. We're upper-ish middle class.

But I would love to see a Republican congressman author a bill that after $2M in profit is earned on a movie that any profit above that gets taxed at 90%.

It's my white privilege.

When your world views are based on empathy and emotion you adopt positions that feel right, but may be disastrous. Thats why we say "the road to hell is paved with good intentions".

Just look what happened when we decided to carve out Indian reservations and put free money in their mailbox. We created a bunch of depressed alcoholics with no purpose by permanently benching them on the sidelines of capitalism.

Hollywood and the left basically want to do the same thing, but on a much bigger scale across a much larger demographic. The end result is wealth destruction and total gov dependence. It seems great in their minds and even works for a little while... then the money behind the good intentions runs out, and the country is irreversibly converted to a hell hole.
