I think that's part of it. When she loses, they'll blame racism because it gets traction with younger voters.

She'll be well compensated for it too.

And I don't think she's that stupid compared to the average senator - she's able to switch in and out of accents/personas depending on what suits her. Doing so raiser her profile much more quickly than just working up the ranks.

ironically, analysts all say that because Wesley Hunt got in the race, it's going to ensure that Paxton wins over Cornyn. Cornyn's only chance was winning in a 1v1 race vs Paxton and it not going to a runoff. Lol. Beto was a very bad candidate if you followed closely. He was too Left on guns, border, crime, and energy/oil&gas vs the median Texan voter on those issues. Allred was a hair more moderate, but totally unskilled. Unable to get attention, terrible at his debate vs Cruz, and just not a good candidate in a year that was bad for Dems. Now, jasmine crockett is also too left on all those things Beto was too Left on. James Talarico is moderate on all that stuff, and he's economic-populist. He should win the primary easy.
