I remember there was this "artist" back in the 90s (forget his name) but his signature paintings were shades of white on white canvas. Yes, they were lame as hell but his work was still exhibited in famous art museums. he'd be tarred and feathered today.

Mis-coloring things is a pet peeve of mine. If anything we should be called beige people.

Red heads don't have red hair. They have orange hair. How did we end up just blatantly using the wrong color for that? It's totally illogical.

We built a new house almost exactly a year ago. I let my wife choose almost everything. The only requirements I had were a huge porch, no carpet at all, and no brick.

So it came time to choose the paint and I had always said I wanted it to be white. It was then and there that I found out how many colors of white there are. Who knew?

Because until oranges (the fruit) was introduced to England, orange (the color) didn't have a name. So orange things were called "red" or "yellow" instead.

Fun fact: In Irish, the word for a Black person is "duine gorm", which literally means "blue person". Because "the black man" is a reference to the devil, and it's un-PC to use it for human beings.

Yep, they have a patented color matching process.

And by "patented", I mean that they've sued the makers of image-editing software to remove support for Pantone color numbers, and told artists that they have to pay a monthly subscription fee in order to ser the correct colors.

"Most people" is false. The moral outrage on the left is at most 20% and almost certainly less than that. What you're describing is a social media phenomenon designed to amplify a relatively small minority. The vast majority of liberals still believe in the Democrats as the party of the little guy and the one that helps people in need. They've yet to realize the blatant racism and lust for power that is the core of that party's policies and believe they're still voting to help people.

Several paint brands like Sherwin Williams and Valspar have their own color wheels and formulas but they all a least start with a Pantone base color. So anytime one is picking paint colors, they seen a Pantone wheel or variation of one.

But as mentioned before A&M Maroon has a Pantone as does the Burnt Orange the sips use. The reds of Bama, Georgia and Arkansas vary slightly but they have Pantones as well for licensed use of the color.

Or maybe I am so old and have remodeled too many houses. LOL.

The most nauseating color choice for any home is the Pepto Bismol pink and blue combo.

Seems to be popular with Californians.
