Like maybe a law describing that military budget is separate or that all bills must be finalized and publicly published a week before being voted on. (or number of days you think fair)

If do nuke the filibuster, fix as much as possible about the legislative process and laws that made the problem so great in the first place. Fix or abolish ACA, other things.

Democrats want TRILLIONS in "Affordable" Healthcare Act (Obama care) subsidies that THEY set the expiration date on; actually the second expiration date!

Obama care has only skyrocketed the cost of healthcare and is only affordable(ish) with machine continued government subsidy.

This sister of a bill has been slung on the American people for FAR to long. It's high time the people pay for what they voted for.

Difficult to deal with people who celebrate assassinations, failed and successful, against members of your party.

A clean CR, without any adjustments or additions objectionable to Democrats, should have been enough to convince sane legislators on the other side of the aisle to vote for the continuation.

Instead, we had a shutdown brought about to produce needed election results in Plantation Party territory.

The elegant solution is to nuke it for CR's only, open up the government, take away any leverage from the Dems, and retain the filibuster for everything else.
