Pretty clear that the average American doesn't give a **** about all of the good things Trump has done.

Trump needs to refocus on the economy.

Inflation and affordability of food, housing and health care need to be what he spends his time and energy on,

But a small sample of the MOST SENIOR leaders who served Trump - from Mark Milley, to John Kelly to Jim Mattis, and Mark Esper - have all been "critical" of Trump - and they do not appear to be "disgruntled vets".

Of course, Trump also has fans among Generals who have served him - including Michael Flynn and Keith Kellogg.

So, in the end, one has to judge the character and reliability of those from both sides to determine one's own take - though I suspect such a judgement would be done through a preexisting bias.

Yes, by far. And being in reserve logistics the makeup of our units are usually less conservative. So i imagine in combat arms he's probably even more likeable.

I don't think people realize how much we were tired of the rot and decay in the force. Hegseth may be brash and bro, but he's getting us back to our core objectives and we badly needed that.

It is because Georgians are tired of rate increases. Here are the rate increases since 2023.

Jan 2023: ~2.6% base rate increase.
Jun 2023: 12.7% fuel cost recovery increase.
Aug 2023: ~3.2% increase for Plant Vogtle Unit 3 costs.
Jan 2024: 4.5% base rate increase.
May 2024: ~5% increase for Plant Vogtle Unit 4 costs.
Jan 2025: 3.5% base rate increase, the final part of the multi-year plan.

That is a lot of increases. Not to mention my own antectal power bill this summer. Previous years for my house the electricity bill in summer was never above $350. This summer I had 2 months over $500. No change in house habits/AC and not any hotter than any other year. Other people have also said they had huge increases this year.

I voted for the Republicans, but it was being pushed hard in SE GA blaming the Republicans for all the rate hikes.
