I'm not opposed to politicians and even presidents making jokes from time to time. But personally I thought it was pretty lame, not funny, and poorly made. Trump, your staff sucks at this AI meme sh**t.

I still think that this kind of behavior on both sides of the aisle is unbecoming. But it clearly is valued by the majority of voters in the US or it wouldn't be done so often or so effectively.

Heck, I haven't voted at all for the past 20 years and don't plan to ever vote again. Not sure why I'm even debating politics here.

They voted for Trump because they couldn't stand the social issues being pushed by the left, and didn't care for Kamala, but they absolutely hate the crude juvenile stuff. My wife will continue to vote against the Left, but she's not going to be a vocal supporter of DJT and frankly is embarrassed to be associated with him. It's not going to help win that demo over for the midterms.

Go to a rally in support of any Republican in the post-World War II era, from Dewey to Trump, and find me the folks who supported political intimidation and murder of their opponents.

Now go see a "No Kings" rally, complete with "I AM ANTIFA" signs and people pointing to their necks in reference to Charlie Kirk, and see if you can say the same thing about them.

I don't have to like everything on the menu at my favorite restaurant.

I'll take your word for it. I've never attended a political rally, march, demonstration, riot, etc and don't intend to start now.

Spending time standing, walking, making signs, etc on things I have no power to change isn't time well spent.

This may be a matter of where you live or the company you keep. My wife has done PTA and now band booster so there have always been a gaggle of moms at the house. Not a single one has ever spoken up about supporting Trump but having concerns on his candor, decorum.

Of course I require all visitors to my house to either swear allegiance to Trump or agree not to speak whilst at my residence. My house, my rules.

I drove through one this weekend in Gainesville, one of the few areas of Florida where this had more than the usual enthusiasm from enraged hippies wanting to relive their weed-infested animus against Nixon.

Plus, Loggins did not write "Danger Zone," only performed it, so his control over how it's used is limited.
