Watched some of this...seemed like a test run to see if AOC could run in future. She is certainly a pay for play type, which means she wouldnt get blacklisted. But she might be worse than Kamala in terms gaffes and lack of substance. We can only hope she wins a primary some day.

Accusing her of "thinking" may be a stretch.

I partied pretty hard during my years at Deloitte and cannot testify that I never pissed or puked in a waterway on behalf of Deloitte.

That said, service companies that support and defend corporate America are complicit in those bad acts over the years.

Corporations and their accountants, lawyers and lobbyists are not inclined to act openly and honestly when it comes to sensitive, debatable positions like pollution.

In most instances the pollution was allowed by law or was simply not yet governed by law and companies received advice from the firms as to such at the time.

Tl;dr AOC is weapons grade dumb, but to be Deloitte defamed here is a stretch.

I seem to recall that one of the first things she did after being elected was to block Amazon from setting up some operations in her district. That cost her district a few thousand jobs and millions of yearly tax revenue.

So I am going to guess that the standard of living in her district has not improved.

But, that might be what she actually wants.

Her problem is she didn't know anything about the real stories. So she tried to memorize the answers and give a prepared canned answer (aka a speech). Yes there were lots of chemical issues and spills and dumps. Lots of them and many were bad. And all she had in her mind was a company whose name started with D. She could have blurted out Dow, DuPont, even Diamond Shamrock. Any of them and she gets away with it because it's at least in the ballpark.

Instead she fires her mouth missile at Deloitte and Touche. I'm sure they are thrilled. She better hope they don't do her taxes.

She's just a hollow puppet. Her problem is she really doesn't know anything so unless she's memorized it from a cheat sheet she can't talk coherently. She it a literal child in terms of actual education and history. It's not quite as bad as a Kamala word salad but it's bad.

I once dropped a flaming hot, Burrito-fueled deuce in a Deloitte office once. Makes you think.

That she is. But without having heard the entire segment, she sounded like she was talking about river's burning back in the 1960s and 70s. That's a long way to reach back to try and concoct some faux anger. Maybe they are running out of victims and having to go back and retread old ones.
