What are you wondering about? I'm tired of the propaganda. Everytime I talk about it it's the right who defends it. Who funds tbe paper? The news channels? Hollywood? Music industry? Etc etc etc.

I think this event perfectly encapsulates the problem or root cause as you put it. On Charlie Kirk's side, you have a man willing to debate in an open forum. He allows people to express their opposition in an open forum. He's always very respectful even when they are not. He frequently says that civil debate and open conversations is the way to heal the nation.

The left does not want to have a conversation. The left constantly vilifies any opposition, big or small. They won't listen to reason, logic, and sure as hell will not accept a different opinion. When your opponent is "literally hitler," it justifies violence in their eyes.

And again, OTOH, Charlie Kirk and his supporters would wholeheartedly condemn violence like this against their political opponents. I've said it many times, but considering the above, I don't think there is any way to resolve our differences.

THE root cause is Godlessness.
