Newsflash.... I don't give a rats ass what work they are doing. If someone is here illegally I want them deported.

In case that wasn't clear enough.. I want 100% of people that are in the US illegally, including those that overstayed their Visa, deported. I don't care if they've been here 25 years and own a business. I don't care if they have anchor babies here.

Deport them all. To those that whine about breaking up families, their US citizen family members can follow the rules of the country they are getting deported to and legally immigrate to join them.

So your "gotcha" moment doesn't mean **** to me.

Maybe it's hate but it could be I'm tired of people whining about enforcing laws.

From the repeat criminals that have a revolving door out of the jail due to low bail to the crimes committed by people that shouldn't be here in the first place we have criminal activity that should be easily reduced.

Libs and people like the poster asking about what we would do without them are just trying to normalize crimes and don't seem to give a care in the world about the illegals victims.

I didn't whine about getting pulled over for speeding a couple weeks ago and dang sure didn't call the cop a fascist pig. I was ready to sign the ticket because I'm responsible for my actions and I broke the law.

You know what, maybe it is hate for the libs who defend the illegals.

Trump with some commentary on this today, though I am sure it will be spun a bit.

Trump says he wants to work out a deal with Hyundai and S Korea for workers they need here for expertise and training.

S Korea says it is flying these folks back home and apologizes for the confusion, embarrassment.

And Trump says ICE did the right thing and that companies must still respect our laws regardless of how much money they are investing.

All seems sensible to me.

if a 60 year old Honduran woman can stand on a chicken line, an American can for sure. Its just easier to get that money from the government.

If you think about it, it's amazing that years ago Microsoft and GE flew Americans to Delhi and Hyderabad to train Indians how to tell me to check if my computer is plugged in and if I tried rebooting anytime I called tech support.

Decades later we now have to fly in S Koreans to teach Americans in Georgia how to build car batteries.

Well people in Georgia voted for all of it and bragged about it. Sickening

South Koreans are very racist and believe Americans in particular are dumb and beneath them. Not all, of course, but a high percentage.

Racist, yes, but I've known a lot of Koreans and folks that have both been to Korea or are married to/in a Korean family (in-law). It isn't a high percentage at all, at least not from what I can tell. I'm sure there are Koreans that think that way, but you'd have to source this from something to make me, at least, believe it because I don't. At least not based on my experience.

Chinamen built the railroads

And Germans built most of the surviving Rock structures built in the Texas Hill Country in the 1800s.

I watched contractors building a TxDot toll road near my ranch a few years ago. I'll bet Most of the workers were illegals. Lots of contractors. Very Few actual TxDot workers.

Who do you guys think are doing the construction jobs working 6 or 7 days a week?
Who do you think is working on the trash trucks?

If they want some of their company men at the factory here, that is completely understandable. But there legal ways to do that.

Trump is a liberal taco.

It was all the jobs that Americans dont want to do. Now its jobs that have been the backbone of American middle class workers for decades?
Just wants to give them over to illegals and vo.apnies knowingly employing them.

Worst trump

I worked for a Korean company. Quite the eye opener and will never do it again.

The things I've posted in this thread were echoed almost to the exact wording by a friend who also, at the time, worked for a Korean company, and it was in a totally different industry.

So...
open up a manufacturing plant in the US
get big tax breaks from the state and local governments,
and then import most of the workers from your own country.

All of our supposed allies do this **** except for Europe and apparently the Japanese. The rule of law means nothing to them.

And people wonder why Americans are increasingly becoming more and more xenophobic and despise all foreigners.

So ICE plant gets raided, busts Hyundai or one of their affiliates for bringing in their own workers under the radar, Trump supports ICE, criticizes Hyundai, warns others and its worst Trump and he is a liberal taco? (Whatever the hell a liberal taco is - though I now have pink ***** hat images in my head.

How about let's see what happened here and what the action / consequences are.

Hyundai management knew they were hiring undocumented workers. Most of those arrested were reportedly South Korean nationals living and working in the country illegally, whether by entering illegally, overstaying visas, or violating visa waivers by working.

I believe this will be the correct assessment when more info comes out. Hyundai tried to skip a few steps and few dollars and were busted.

I did laugh when Bill Hemmer asked why e-Verify did not prevent this. Maybe he could do a news story on the joke that is and has always been e-Verify.

Idiots on social media are claiming they're going to close down the plant now. Uh, no.

The Kemp admin and mainly Hyundai are responsible for not following the damn law. Why does the plant or corporation NOT have an immigration attorney on staff?

Did you mean "doesn't"?

My understanding is there is simply an absence of good quality attorneys in the state. No idea if that is true.

Gotta be some immigration attorneys in Savannah.

Not paying an attorney on the front end costs more on the back end. Example # 3,678,832,

Kidding aside, I would agree Hyundai likely not has only an attorney but likely a whole office of them.

It will be mildly interesting to see how these illegals came to be and why Hyundai or one of its affiliates decided proper procedure was for the birds.
