I saw this video on Instagram, and I think everything, except the punch, was justified.

I recognize that we have a system where those with the highest amount of authority have the least amount of accountability. I've said this countless times: If you have to spend your time and money on court, with no reimbursement or recompense, to force police to respect your rights, you don't actually have them in the first place. Don't ever cry and complain about the government overreaching or stepping on your rights when you would willingly bend over to let them do it as long as it's a cop giving it to you.

It's amazing 99% of us can somehow find a way to navigate life without having a cop break our car window and punch us in the face. Truly miraculous if you really think about it.

The punch was definitely too much, but how long do you let someone **** around and argue? I watch a ton of body cam videos on youtube and so many people think they can stall their way into getting the cops to just go away. It never works and just pisses everyone off.

Watching the whole video you could tell he was just wasting everyone's time and had used up whatever patience the cop had.

How's it an illegal traffic stop? You can't pull someone over to ticket them for not wearing a seat belt? Also, doesn't Florida have laws stating if there is inclement weather like rain, fog, etc you need your lights on?

He stopped at the house, so they came up with a reason to pull him over to see what he had. I'm not saying that's good or bad, just adding context to the story.
