Did the ICE agents say "this is MAGA country" too?

No. We have an immigration system. They're already criminals.
I get that, I really do and I support it. But this country needs more people who are willing to donate their time for their fellow humans in need. Now, I am making assumptions that is what is going on, but if true, we need more of it. Maybe not by making them legal, but we desperately need more it.
From first hand experience outside of Rockport after Harvey, there were a lot of people and crews that were around but waiting on direction or a place to help out. We were approached half a dozen times by people and we already had all the food, water, and supplies we needed. Seems like Texans always are supporting our neighbors.SquirrellyDan said:stick95 said:Ellis Wyatt said:

Brother in law enforcement has been out volunteering on his days off. Asked if I could help him a few days ago, says they have more people offering assistance than they know how to manage. No doubt more help will be needed before serious cleanup is done, but for now the whole " we need all the help we can get, even from illegals" is just stupid.
I didn't say we need all the help we can get, you're putting words in my mouth. I also will restate, I am FOR mass deportation. And if we have to hurt a few good people to make this country safe again, I'd choose that over continuing to allow masses of people wreak havoc in innocents and freeload off of my tax dollars. But I also know that in general, Americans in this country could give two ****s for the man sitting right next to them. So, if someone shows that they are willing to step up and help their fellow humans... then maybe they can be prioritized for legal citizenship.SquirrellyDan said:stick95 said:Ellis Wyatt said:

Heard there were police out rounding up people who had warrants for breaking the law...chilimuybueno said:
We have heard from my sister-in-law who is at the house on the South Fork near Hunt that ICE is in the area. She's had help the past couple of dadys from some men that may be here illegally; she did not ask for papers. Apparently some of these men are now avoided the area, slowing the demolition and debris cleanup.
I live in downtown Hunt...you are full of S#!t...Go take your troll somewhere else!chilimuybueno said:

Let me take a stab at this....
Border patrol is part of the response effort.....
Somebody saw border patrol and told somebody that ICE was in the area, because they are stupid libs and don't know the difference.
Rumor spreads amongst the uneducated masses.
Bet I nailed it.

I bet there's a lot of laws we could break to speed the clean up.
Should we?
If 400 brown people show up to search and cleanup, I couldn't honestly give a single dry f--- where they are from. I don't know. I don't care. I know nothing. I will ask no questions and turn a blind eye in any way I can when the situation warrants it.
If they are showing up to help… fast track them to be here legally.
