They apparently also did the same thing in New Mexico right before the Ruidoso floods. I'm not saying it caused any flooding because I have no idea, but it is coincidental timing.

Cloud seeding is not happening

You're a right wing Q conspiracy theorist

Ok, it was happening but it didn't have anything to do with it

*** YOU ARE HERE ***

Why cloud seating is a good thing

If you don't support cloud seeding, you're racist.

this topic is one of the more intriguing ones to me because there is evidence of this activity going back to at least the vietnam war. There are private companies admitting to utilizing this tech, There are states that have laws that allow this to be done, texas is one of them. and yet a large % of people think this is a conspiracy.

Why are you people so desperate to find someone to blame?

And there is already a very long thread about this idiotic conspiracy theory.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Quote:

A company called Rainmaker, conducted a cloudseeding mission on July 2nd over Texas Hill Country.

2 days later, the worst flood in their history occurred…in the exact same area that the Rainmaker flights were.

From your tweet....

1. The cloud seeding was in a tiny area well before the flood 150 miles to the EAST of the floods. Meaning, it would have had to disperse WEST in the face of prevailing winds of a tropical storm to put it over the catchment area for the flooding.

2. These weren't the worst floods in history for this area. It's an area of routine flooding. The entire topography is defined by said flooding.

Jeez, use some common sense people.

The sun also rose up in the sky and set. The moon too.

1 day later the worst flood in history happened.

Makes you think.

Lol - you guys really have to stop falling for these engagement farming conspiracy accounts. For starters, the tweet is lying to you - it was not the "exact same area".

seems like more and more this seeding caused a role in the floods.

Cloud seeding is urban legend
Cloud seeding hasn't happened in decades
Cloud seeding isn't effective
We stopped cloud seeding in the area the day before, couldn't have been us!!

Cloud seeding has been going on for many decades. It is a moderately effective tool to help keep crops growing and drinking water available. But it will be the new dog whistle of the Climate Change Cult. Their Art History, Gender Studies, and Social Justice degrees have taught them that science is real.

I know people need to be able to point to a reason bad things happen, but cloud seeding had nothing to do with this tragedy. It's like trying to say that a drop of water falling in the ocean caused a tidal wave.

This was an exceptional rain event that resulted from the stalled remnants of a tropical storm. We've had the same thing or worse occur here on the Gulf Coast at least a half dozen times in my 60 years here on the Upper Gulf Coast, but we just happen to be on flat ground and not in river valleys.

Its not a conspiracy, it has been used for decades now, and it has proven to not be very effective, if at all. Cloud seeding is not what caused the flooding in Kerr County. I'm glad a private company is doing this, even though I don't think its very effective.

We have been in drought for the better part of a decade, with the bullseye being the southern Hill Country. Our lake are dry, our rivers hardly flow, the Edwards Aquifer is very low and may of our wells are going dry, all the while more and more people are moving in. We need any rain we can get.

No one has claimed cloud seeding is an urban legend. If you start off your premise with a fabrication, it's pretty clear the rest of your points are too.

Literally no one has said the first two. It's been around for decades. Your lives have to be so incredibly boring to be constantly chasing these insane conspiracies. At least MTG is just doing it for attention.
