In this instance, two things can be true. (1) I can get behind Massie on transparency and his other conservative stances, and (2) be frustrated with him for turning this topic into a tabloid-style, hey-look-at-me fight.

Trump damn sure fumbled this but has done quite a bit worth supporting. Filing this away in the 'this is why we can't have nice things' category. Democrats in power "fall in line" and push **** through ... when Republicans get in power, everyone heads to a microphone to explain why the way they want to do it is the only way it can be done.

As to whatever evidence they have, I still believe

1) If there was damning stuff on Trump, it would have been out years ago
2) There is/was evidence of powerful/rich people doing bad things
3) Those powerful/rich people have either had that evidence destroyed or will do what it takes to ensure it never sees the light of day
4) At most, we will get fed some 'sacrificial lambs' as red meat, but it will not be the worst of the worst, or the biggest names folks are looking for.

At this point, I think the only way we get real info is folks with money/power that are willing to protect the victims coming forward with the information.
