It has been widely reported in the press that the shooter left a "manifesto" in his car expressing opposition to abortion; a list of targets including Democratic lawmakers, and a childhood friend confirmed his virulent opposition to abortion. This was cited by, among others, a US Senator on Meet the Press this morning.American Hardwood said:
We have zero evidence that his motives in the killing had anything to do with abortion.
In what universe is that "zero evidence"? And if you believe that the above is somehow a liberal media conspiracy, why has none of it been refuted by law enforcement at any of the multitude of press conferences already held? Or are they in on the conspiracy, too?
Unless I missed something, the only information released about the manifesto was that it contained a list of names, no text about abortion. The abortion angle is a narrative unless you have more information.
The best way to keep evil men from wielding great power is to not create great power in the first place.
