It was a video, not a comic strip, but the point stands. You just reminded me of what I was thinking at the time, which was "Does anyone really buy such a stupid cover story?"
Events have shown since then that the left can make up literally anything and 30+% of the country will not only buy it, but attack anyone who doesn't.

Yeah, I just saw that. Pretty disappointing. I expected more from Glendale.

In my local FB group, I saw people getting all excited because they found out that ICE agents are staying at the Marriott in Glendale. Don't know if that's true or not. But... it wouldn't surprise me if somebody thought it was a good idea to take the fight to the hotel.

Of course Glendale and Burbank are the two cities in that area with a reputation that would discourage these Mexican flag waving rioters from showing up there.

I'm going to have to go pop some popcorn and fire up some livestreams. Can't wait to hear what Scott Adams has to say at the top of the hour.

I guess his contention with the lawsuit is that its the governors discretion to call up the NG but didn't Trump send them there mainly to protect federal buildings and ICE agents from the mob?

The violence and riot was already escalating as well prior to any national guardsmen showing up.

He's suing because they're losing. They thought the National Guard would come in and kill their paid protesters and spark nationwide chaos, but the Guard is just protecting federal buildings and Trump is letting the rioters riot and destroy the city and the Democrats don't want to be the ones to put down the riots they paid for.

They didn't during the '20 riots which led to a few deaths, most notably the AK toting loser. Hopefully Abbott crushes anything like that instead of letting mobs take over downtown.

Although SAPD let them go, the '20 rioters in SA estimated at 4000 strong were stopped cold by 120 This is Texas Freedom Force members, from taking over the Alamo chapel. Park Rangers eventually regrouped and relieved the Alamo Defenders.
