Colin County is practically Mecca for Texas. People talk about Dearborn and Minneapolis and NYC, North Texas is overridden by Haji

Do Muslims have large events (other than terrorist attacks)?
You've never heard of the Hajj? It draws over 1 million visitors every year.

Looks like a perfect tike to drop a GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb

Feels super sketchy, like Fyrefest.

"Postponed indefinitely" - LOL, I'm sure the organizers won't be giving ticket refunds any time soon.

Got to be more to the story here. Anytime there's lack of substance to these shady stories, it's best to wait and see.

Before we all jump to conclusions, are we sure it's not threats of violence from Jews or Christians?
You know you are right.

Gotta wonder what nefarious activity the Knights of Columbus or Baptist on Mission might be up to.
Haha. Those K of C guys are running around with swords when they're not bbq'ing chickens or frying up the fish.

Agreed. Sounds like a super easy scapegoat. Was there really a credible threat? There are all kinds of people that threaten all kinds of events, seems odd for them to make this claim without any substantiative evidence.

Ring it with snipers, hold the conference, and weapons free.
Unless someone or some company offers to do this for free, the cost of it is part of what caused them to cancel the event. The threat of violence and the cost of the required security to prevent it made holding the event impossible, even if the venues hadn't canceled.

The FBI should be hunting down the individuals and groups that made these threats and putting them in jail or at least warning them. Their actions and threats are abridging other's right to free speech and to peaceably gather.
Way past time for warning people like this. Arrest them, find a way for some to hang themselves like Epstein, offer only pork for jail meals, make them feel unwelcome and want to leave. Warning is condoning.

Is there such a thing as a bacon cannon. Fire pork waste over the crowds and watch them disperse.

You're assuming they don't have substantive evidence. As you noted events like this get threats all the time. It's just as likely that this threat was credible and authorities told the event they weren't confident it could be contained.
