I am curious though how many people he actually influences nowadays. I really don't think it is that many.

We on the right see Whoopie Goldberg for example and think that all Democrats agree with her and think like her. But in reality she really only speaks to and for a small subset. Every Dem I know think that he is really influential to the right but I don't think so. He is our Whoopie.

Whether right or wrong on this issue, I'm pretty sure Tucker has enough wealth to be passed down for generations and won't be doing janitor work any time soon. What a strange take.

All media, all sides think their version is always right. They all wait for the gotcha moment. They all swing and miss, they all get some stuff right.

The truth is NONE OF THEM have the level on INTEL as the top brass & President of the USA. They media can be directionally correct often, but pretty much never 100% informed.

How is it premature? Did you not read his two week predictions?

It's not just that Carlson took a position and was wrong. Had he just said bombing Iran was dangerous or pushed the (incorrect) position that congressional approval was needed that would be one thing.

But he chose a third route. oddly defending and tacitly cheerleading for Iran. In addition, he chose to attack one of the most faithful and consistent members of conservative media, and tried to embarrass one of the most important conservative senators over trivia questions.

It's not just Tucker. There's a lot of people on the blame America first train who have now extended that to always taking the side of our enemies, albeit Iran, Russia, etc.

I know, but I didn't want to lump others into it when this thread since there are two thread about him going well beyond just not thinking bombing was a good idea.

So, I took a listen to this yesterday. Its Glen Greenwald, who basically takes Tucker's side in this argument and essentially blames most of the world's issues on the USA.

It a good listen if you want to learn what people like tucker are thinking.
