Blending pride month with Halloween? Now that's a visual blend.

Aside from the actual parades (that you, or no one who doesn't like the LGBTQXYZ+ community, aren't forced to go to or see), how is someone who is LGBTQXYZ+ living their life forcing people to acknowledge them and their lives?jja79 said:ETFan said:

We're tired of having deviant behavior paraded around until we acknowledge it.

Right? Just try to tell a group of coworkers or family that you want to have intercourse with the opposite sex. Reactions will range between "well... OK" to "that's none of my business and I'm offended that you would want to talk about it". Somebody announces that they want to have have sex with the same gender (i.e. - "gay") then your going to have people congratulating you on your bravery and making plans to represent your cheering section at the next gay parade. Like "I'm so excited that you're gay. Where's my sign?"jja79 said:
Turn on a television.
Have you ever seen people announcing they're heterosexual aka normal? Me either.

-Kindergartners and other children being subjected to drag queen story hour.
-Gay porn and homosexual advocacy literature kept in the children's section of libraries.
-Government prosecutions of a baker in Colorado who politely declined baking a cake for a gay wedding.
-Continued influence on all entertainment media.
-Etc.

Seems to be less of the month long silliness of advertising demented sexual preferences. I think corporations don't feel the same pressure to accommodate this fad.
Net benefit to society IMHO. Maybe we can get back to June being the month for the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

David Hogg is a member of menses. It's how he got into Harvard.

I tell women at work that I want to have sex with them all the time. Just in case they needed updates and reassurances that I'm straight. And to help with their self esteem, of course. Im just thoughtful like that.
Is that wrong...?

From what I recall, haven't those things you mentioned been addressed and removed so they're no longer an issue?
As for the influence of media, like parades, you aren't forced to watch. Things that go from a character happening to be gay, "Will and Grace," for example, to a show where there will be scenes where they shove as much LGBTQXYZ the scene, like the show "Looking" on HBO, then I just stop watching the show. That's it, it's no longer affecting me.
