If someone gave Drudge a lot of money with instructions to keep quiet then it has to be someone with no concern about ROI that just wanted it to go away.

Still amazes me Drudge was the go to site for conservatives 15years ago.

1000%. I've always wondered as well. He was quite possibly the most influential journalist/influencer in American politics during his height.

And then he just disappeared.

The only thing I can even relate it to might be someone like Dave Chappelle when he left his show and disappeared, but that was only for a couple of months.

He's had no public appearances for years, total recluse.

There was a podcast a while back that tried to answer the question "what happened to Matt Drudge" but they couldn't find anything. They also couldn't prove whether or not he still owned and managed Drudge Report.

I find it interesting too that Ann Coulter doesn't even know. They were good friends at one point. Coulter turned on Trump at some point during his first term (I think she was upset that he wasn't doing enough on illegal immigration).

Drudge's turn on Trump seemed to be about the same time.

But then apparently per the video I shared earlier, she doesn't have any contact with him anymore.

It's all just strange, fascinating, and insane.

I would love to know who owns the Drudge Report. There are still plenty of "conservatives" that go to Drudge. It kinda fits in with the Lincoln Project George Conway types. I really don't understand why Trump, Elon, or someone with the means who is defamed on Drudge Report doesn't sue just to bring all this to light.
