I played pickleball yesterday with a friend; a Chinese female who has dual citizenship with China and the US. She was born in mainland China.

Her husband - recently retired - worked with a guy who is from Canada and has a green card. Been over here for a long time. The guy's wife - US citizen - told my friend that they were worried about her hubby being deported by Trump. My friend rolled her eyes and said "Trump is not deporting legal residents!"

The tiny mind of a lib is easily manipulated!

This is a baiting tactic. They want Trump to ignore the lower court rulings so they can further paint him as a dictator who hates workers. Having said that, the Dems seemingly want the US to be a third world country. In third world countries judges are assassinated quite regularly. This is a really bad game to play.

I think the Democrat strategy is twofold. First, do everything they can to obstruct and delay. Second, hope Trump ignores a court order along the way that will help them set up impeachment charges should they take the House in 2026.

Not shockingly, they are playing fast and lose within their Constitutional duties and it is a very dangerous game they are playing. The SC really has to step in soon and hopefully put an end to it or at least put some restrictions/guardrails on the district court judges.

A lasting national divorce won't happen. Even if you could divy up some territory, eventually the left would infiltrate the institutions of the right and would be right back to where you started. The problem is psychological. The pathology of leftism includes narcissism and a heavy dose of envy. It's a toxic combination where they cannot accept that there are neighboring people that believe they are ideological failures (which they assuredly demonstrate every time they achieve some level of authority) while simultaneously cannot abide the success and wealth of those same people. They will be driven to destroy such a neighbor just as they do right now.

And before you can say they won't get past the guns on the walls, realize that leftism can sprout within the walls like a fungus and grow from there. The violence comes later.

About the only thing you can do is declare certain beliefs to be incompatible with your system of liberty and outlaw the practice of those beliefs. Certainly, this is the paradox of a (true) liberal society. The downfall of freedom comes because of the freedom to promote anti-liberalism.

a) Elon Musk to reinstate USAID workers;
b) Trump to state disclose when/where flights left w/ terrorists;
c) reinstatement of transgender to military;
d) reinstatement of Dep't of Education grants.
