I honestly don't know what to think about this.

This week a couple 'Christian' pastors made news by denouncing the phrase - Christ is King, citing a 'study' that linked the phrase to domestic terrorism.

A few people on x started digging in and found that the study was funded by our good friends at the ADL. There's also another shady ngo type org, that's affiliated in pushing it. This org also was involved in covid censorship.

Here's where it gets weird. Jordan Peterson and the daily wire go hard after Candace Owens, and anyone who tries to push back on the bogus study. Weird.

I have no idea what this furor is about, but Christ is, in fact, King. Some people are going to have a really hard time being forced to accept it on one knee someday.

The problem all started with the queen of grifters, Candace Owens.

She would say it to people's face at The Daily Wire for no other reason than to be a jerk.

Woman that has multiple times minimized the actions of Nazi Germany as cleansing debaucherous books and people from society is told that she's being anti-Semitic with her statements by a Jewish individual. Her response to those criticisms is to respond to the Jewish individual "Christ is King" equivalent to "**** you Jew boy, you're going to hell and I'm going to invite other like minded people to attack you by saying it" then turns it into a dogpiling operation of mentally deficient anti-semites mixed with naive Christians that don't understand the impetus of the statement is not praise or a proclamation of the divinity of Christ, but rather an attempt to harm another person.

It should offend you as a Christian that she takes Christ's name in vain and uses it as a divider between current Christians and non-Christians. That pronouncement is not supposed to be used as a tool to punish people that have justifiably criticized you.

However, according to Jessee Lee Peterson in a hilarious YouTube interview, the BLM organization "was founded by 3 black Marxist lesbians" who denounced Christianity, defended "fatherless homes" for the black community, HATE WHITE MEN, & advocate for drastic political & social change achieved thru massive civil unrest & violence.

WWJD? Certainly not any of those things!!!

There's simply nothing redeemable about these Sistas!! The morally bankrupt organization they created only fostered animosity & hatred, which led to physical violence & property damage for others, while the money it raised didn't do jack squat to benefit the black community!!!

Honestly, I tend to side with JP here on the facts, but it is easy to take his comments out of context. It is foolish of JP to post stuff like this on social media, because it WILL be taken out of context.

Candace Owens tends to just shout "Christ is King" when she is losing an argument or looking bad.

So, imagine this premise. Candace, in the middle of a civil discussion with a lot of different types of people in the room, sees that she is looking silly, so just goes crazy shouting "Christ is King" to avoid any further discussion, and try to garner support from devout Christians to that rally cry as opposed to addressing the specific issue. She tells the people that are arguing with her to shut up because Christ is King, implying that she is God's anointed, and to question her is somehow sacrilege.

It's not a good look. And, if you assume that is the premise, JP's comments don't look so weird.

You can quibble whether or not the premise is valid and she actually just reverts to empty chanting or not, but, you have to understand the framing to make any sense at all of JP's comments.

Once upon a time I was a huge Candace Owen fan. I'm not so much anymore.

JP is a very intelligent person whose insights should be considered.

Candace is a grifting moron.

Keep in mind some of the daily wire people know her personally and worked with her for some time and may know things about her that isn't evident from her public and social media persona.

Nov. 24th is the celebration of "Christ the King". It has nothing to do with Judaism or other religions, it is the Catholic church's response to communism, atheism and secularism. The feast day stresses that we should put God first and foremost in our lives.
