This shows how pathetic Joe Biden is. Biden wanted to appease the Marxist AOC base of the Democrat Party so he did nothing. These riots on college campuses across the country are being operated by radical foreign students who are being funded by George Soros. The executive branch can deport the foreign organizers of these events that are blocking student learning and movement. Physically blocking students from getting to class and engaging in violent rioting is not protected by the first amendment. Trump should also continue to remove federal funding from all far left universities like he just did with Columbia.

Doesn't particularly matter. Any endorsement of terrorism or terrorist groups like hamas is specific grounds for visa revocation and immediate deportation. Going to a pro-hamas protest or justifying 10/7 as some kind of twisted "resistance" is enough to violate the statutes of the Immigration and Nationality Act concerning revoking a visa for engaging in terrorism or associating with terrorists.

Pretty sure they can't. Visa revocations actually have to go through USCIS and are not subject to judicial review.

The immigration judges who can remove green cards are not independent. Immigration judges are not part of the judicial branch of the federal government. Not my bailiwick, legally speaking on immigration laws. The bolded is my understanding, admin law "judges" which are kind of a separation of powers issue itself. Sure, Congress can manage the inferior federal courts, create special courts, etc. But in my view, that would come under amendments to the Federal Judiciary Act, not the Administrative Procedures Act.

Now as to other issues. Is there a property interest in having a green card? I say there is not because our right to drive, our right to manage our own finances when in our dotage even our right to vote are deemed privileges that can be revoked for transgressions. For much the same reason, neither is holding a green card a liberty interest.

BUT, pulling out a third hand here...presence in the US still does afford some due process rights. Where this gets gnarly.

Because immigration matters are civil, not criminal. You get some due process rights, but not all of them.
