The real scandal is that all Teslas are actually made in India. They drive them here.

Seems like they would get awfully wet while they drive them here.

Who would steal Tesla wheels? They're horrendous.

You don't like the covers on the wheels. Take those off and the wheels are pretty good.

I did not realize this until I was in a discount tire this past weekend watching them work on a Tesla and the tech popped off the plastic cover to reveal a very nice looking wheel. The actually wheels look 10x better than the plastic cover, I can't believe i haven't seen any Teslas with them removed.

This to infinity.

It was bad enough when it was the left and their self-righteous selves on the road, but now add the tech bros and their, "really, I'm macho with my gym muscles" out there and it's double the patheticness.

Is a crime being committed? Duh. Could I care less about it? Yeah, I couldn't care less.

Agreed. They're more aerodynamic so taking them off hurts the range a little bit that aside I assume most owners just don't know. I took mine off about a month after we got it and probably won't ever put them back on.

On the one hand, this is terrorism and should be dealt with as such.

On the other hand, a LOT of those owners in those big blue cities where this is happening did in fact vote for this

What is the deal with so many Indians driving Tesla's. Once you see it you can't unsee it. Just check out Tesla's while driving and probably 85% are Indian. At least where I live in north Dallas.

There are plenty of Tesla owners who are probably hoping someone will torch their car so insurance will get them back into an ICE vehicle

I've only had mine for four months but as of right now there's a 0% chance my next car will be ICE. It's objectively the best car I've ever owned. Nothing close to it technology wise and the driving experience is comparable to my wife's Cadillac.

Now, full disclosure. I go to the gym 2-3 days a week and ride a bicycle about 3000 miles a year so I have strong enough leg muscles to not get tired while driving it. When I actually drive it. I increasingly just tell the car where to go and let it drive. There's nothing close it on the road from an autonomy perspective and there won't be for years.

Always amusing that you and your little Tesla tribe have to hone in on that one comment instead of addressing the many other complaints. Calling it "fatigue" was the wrong word choice. It had nothing to do with physical tiredness.

If you like your Tesla, I'm very happy for you. We just prioritize different things. First and foremost I don't want to drive and ugly car and sit in a cabin and built with cheap materials just so I can play with a computer screen

Yeah, domestic 6 element's students were stupefied when she responded to them that she doesn't want a Tesla. It's some sort of status symbol in the local Indian diaspora, from what I can tell.

She said they still even today (the kinders) all applaud when the one cybertruck pulls up to pick kids up daily. It's friggin March. I mean, young kids so whatever, but it's definitely a solid trend locally.

And no, despite the fanaticism elsewhere, I've never in any way been tempted to vandalize someone's car. That's just a stupid, immature thing to even consider doing, let alone over something like politics. I do laugh and shake my head repeatedly at stereotypes/bumper stickers on the road though.

We dig in on that "complaint" because it was the dumbest complaint in the history of the auto board and … you made it. It's a friendly dig about a dumb comment and bro code means I can't ever let you forget it. You know the rules.

The rest of this is just personal opinion. I couldn't care less what anyone else thinks of my car and you shouldn't either.

The guy I was responding to said on the auto board he hated his wife's Tesla because the regenerative braking means you have to keep your foot on the accelerator pedal and that caused him "fatigue". As I just noted it was a dumb comment and the internet never forgets so it keeps coming up.

Guess you had to be there.

I bought a Tesla. One of the reasons was Elon. Most of it had to do with trying something new, it's an American car, fast, and the tech. I did not buy it for the environment - that battery will do more damage to the environment once it needs to be disposed than any gasser.

Politically, I am a conservative Tesla owner if you want to go that far with ideology. These idiots are targeting people like me with this crap.

I don't have any issues with drivers ever.

Certainly not enough to start cataloging who I have issues with the most based upon the type of car they drive.

You seem to be a guy who has a lot of issues with a lot of people on the road.

You could be part of the problem.

Well… he didn't say anything about truck drivers.

If I were emperor, those guys would only operate between 8 PM and 6 AM. Death penalty for violators.
