When Dane Cook hit it big, I watched some of his standup & thought "Who the hell thinks this guy is funny?" I got the same reaction watching that pathetic propaganda disguised as a comedic skit, although the Homer Simpson reference was funny (but because of Homer, not the SNL's actor's actual antics).

Give me Norm MacDonald, Dave Chappelle, &/or Shane Gillis (the GOAT for a Trump impersonation) any day of the week over that liberal gaslighting BS; if you're gonna go that route, make it actually funny. Instead, the SNL audience & staff are just like any other Dem/ Liberal echo chamber.

Honestly right! There was plenty of potentially great skits the SNL cast could have done that wasn't edgy or stupid like this stuff now. I thought GWB choking on pork rinds was funny.for example.

If SNL focused on be funny and creative they would be enjoyable to watch.

Cut it at about 1:40. I have no problem, especially with Trump. taking the lefts humor arrows. That was just f'ing dumb.

That was hilarious, especially given they less than a day to come up with it. Marco Rubio cracked me up most.. Guessing they scrapped a skit involving Elon planned with Mike Myers there for it...probably incorporated some of it into this one.

SNL hasn't been funny since the original cast left. It had it's moments in the mid 80's, but has become unwatchable.

I liked the bit about the cards. Pikachu, Charmander, Charizard!

Wild that they had Shane Gillis on and did not have him play Trump.

I thought everything was kind of funny up until the Elon Musk bit, that part fell flat for me. Mike Myers sounded nothing like him.

I don't watch the show anymore, but I will occasionally see a current skit show up on Twitter or something and they do get a few things still very funny. Not many but a few.

I'm more on board now that they had a script and tried to throw in the Oval Office meeting last minute and has 2 non congruous scripts and it fell flat when they tried to add DOGE to the Zelynskyy add on
