It was ok. The bit about the tie was funny and the guy doing Trump does it pretty well.

I tried, but it's unwatchable.

Nothing more than the same propaganda disguised as humor we have seen for years.

There were a few halfhearted smiles. No out loud chuckles or laughs.

The Elon take was so-so, but Myers did a soft british accent.

The Vance take was just flat out awful and nowhere close to reality, which took away from the humor.

And there was a time when SNL would do political parodies without making it a full-on lambasting of the policies they clearly disagree with. Lampoon the person (either R or D) and I'll laugh. But using mediocre humor to mask their personal political commentary is a turn off. I want to watch SNL to escape political lecturing, not bask in it.

Mike Myers does a way better Elon Musk than Dana Carvey.

I have a sense of humor. I thought the Dave Chappell 2016 Election Day skit was hilarious as well as the first Black Jeopardy with Tom Hanks as a contestant. I'll go back and rewatch those any day. This just wasn't funny. Sometimes they just fall flat due to desperation. This felt like one of those times.

I watch the show sporadically. If a skit is really funny, it is usually referenced multiple times on internet.
My reaction to this one is... Meh, writers could have used a couple of more days.

SNL takes all the liberal talking points derived from all the gaslighting, and then makes "satire" from that point of view. This is why they miss so often. It's also why they fail at any "satire" aimed at the left. MSNBC and CNN gaslight in a completely positive spin around that side, so there's nothing for them to mock.

There's a reason why I laugh my ass off watching Shane Gillis do his Trump impersonations and can barely stand to watch the SNL trash, these days.

I watched the entire 7:45.

Some jokes fell flat, but I liked the acting and there were a lot of laughable moments.

I can see how leftists, media duped, and ideologically possessed find something like that funny. But to be actually funny, the basis has to be centered in the middle and from a non-biased stance. This one started off completely biased and let you know immediately that far left progressives whose ideas have bankrupted and ruined our country wrote it. From that point forward, the only humor was slight chuckles at character traits. The substance was absolute garbage.

I can laugh at republicans and Trump.

But I couldn't laugh at that.
