A study should be done to analyze benefits already received from disability status at varying levels (%), in addition to other existing veterans benefits, to determine if the full weight or sum of the benefits if %disabled was a 1:1 exemption from property taxes (ex 50% disabled is a 50% exemption) is reasonable.
(This is just a very inarticulate way of saying - how much is reasonable to give.)
That way an honest look at what is being given can be had by the legislature, and the general public.
I'm all for benefits to Disabled Veterans, but at some point society has to determine where a cutoff line exists, and I can't do that with someone's opinion from an article.
