Everyone knows Putin is a dictator. But people or I should say western media act like zelensky is a super hero. And thus why Trump is calling him out.

People also have to come to terms with the fact western media has been propping Russia up as the world bully to siphon defense spending.

Russia was the premier country in the world during the turn of the century in 1900. Russia also was one of the largest Christian nations. It sadly was overtaken by communists and Bolsheviks. Russia and Russian people are not the United States mortal enemies.

There's also a false idea in the west that if you remove Putin you automatically get someone better. Thats not likely the case at all. Youd end up with someone far more brutal as they would naturally have to be to consolidate power. Even Putin faced Wagner troops fighting inside Russia.
So let's jump in bed with them and China and Iran.

Genius!

When he starts acting like an adult then he can graduate from the kiddie table.

Him running his mouth yesterday ensures he will not get that seat.

Personally, I don't think he is the right one regardless.
The problem is this place somehow can justify this as not a problem when Trump opens his mouth.

I can't wait for this place to justify if the rare earth minerals are dealt to European nations instead of us. Somehow we'll hear all about how that isn't egg on Trump's face for signaling he'd rather jump in bed with Russia and making threats.

How do you hold Russia to that treaty?
Well, first you agree to an actual treaty not a vague memorandum.

You also agree to hold up your end. Making statements about admitting Ukraine into NATO is certainly not holding to the original understandings.

You do realize there was never an original treaty, correct? Or did I miss something in my homework reading?

I don't think it's fair to say he wasn't offered a seat. Trump offered Z the drivers seat but he refused to agree to pay us back for the aid using the rare earth.
What fool what give up their biggest bargaining chip to the country signaling they'd rather support the country that invaded you?

If Ukraine is going to give those up, they have to get major arms assistance or a new security deal from western countries that might actually honor them since Trump has decided the US will not.

Statement or Memorandum = / = Treaty

I learned that at the required reading from yesterday.

And there was an explicit reason they didn't want security guaranties for Ukraine. We were unwilling to shed blood for them then and should continue to be unwilling to shed blood for them hence why they are never getting into NATO.

What have been the consequences of what Trump has said and the positions he is taking? And how is it bad for America?

Is the bed Trump is jumping into with Russia covered in pee? Cause then such a statement would have at least some validity to it.

Did you know we had US troops INSIDE Russia fighting to defend Russia?

Did you know we had volunteers military members fight inside China to defend China?

Did you know we tried to force Iran into a treaty pre WW2?

You've been propagandized by military industrial complex. The world isn't black and white like they make it out to be. Your views are specially crafted and curated to you. It's recency bias and lack of history too.

I've got some more that might bow your mind.

Did you know we fought a war with France?
And now we're Allies.

Did you know we dropped two automatic bombs on Japan and now we're allies?

Did you know we fought TWO massive wars against Germany and now we are allies?

Get this one…. Did you know we used to be colonies of the British Empire and fought a war against them for our independence…

Crazy right… instead of making peace we should stay enemies with all those nations according to you!!

No this is the art of the deal. Everyone knows you give the other side everything they want prior to negotiations.

Sorry not sorry. We told you it would end like this.

None of us here on earth are shocked.

No, you assured us that Trump was a master deal maker and wouldn't be run over by a foreign leader.

Fortunately this story appears to be fake so there's still hope Trump is what he says he is.

I am still assuring that.

But you told me Trump was a bad ass deal maker? Crawfishing now I see

My question is what are we to do?

Do we continue to fund ukriane's war indefinitely? If no, then when should we stop?

Is it too late to give ukriane the weaponry and authorities that could change the tide of this war? If so, should we still do it?

Are we and our European allies willing to actually put boots on the ground? Is it necessary to do so to achieve victory?

Is zelenskyy perhaps demanding something that probably cannot be fulfilled? Something like getting all or most of Ukrainian land back? I get the idea but how would one go about getting the land back? Russia isn't just going to give it back.

I've not read anything about the realistic off ramp for zelenskyy or Ukraine. I think trump doesn't really care so long ad the war stops.

Unless Ukraine can somehow show they could go on a real offensive, then what are we doing? America, one could argue, had achieved it's goals. We've helped to severely harm one of our biggest adversaries. We got nato and European counties to start spending more on their defenses. We've grown nato. We've shown putin to be a ***** by continually crossing his red lines. We proved the russian army, while big and willing to sacrifice it soldiers, can't handle a two bit organized defense.

But it all comes down to what else is there to do? It's either send our own troops and win or make the best deal possible. It could be zelenskyy is simply denying the predicament he is in.

Zelensky was listed in the Pandora papers in 2021, he has hidden offshore wealth. Extensive holdings. He's corrupt. This changed in 2022. Time for a narrative shift! We all saw this happen in real time. We can send this corrupt gangster and his oligarchs 200 billion dollars.

Before Putin's invasion, Azov and other militia groups would terrorize ethnically Russian areas of Eastern Ukraine. This was well documented. Do learn about the Tornado Battalion. This group would abuse children in front of their parents. It's something out of a horror film.

Zelensky's regime used non-state actors to kill political opponents. Dozens of mayors and others were executed. Plausible deniability because the wet works were done by Azov and other groups. Of course none of these murders were solved.

Gonzalo Lira, an American, was held hostage and then killed by the Zelensky regime. This is an inconvenient fact, and hence why the neocons and globalists won't say his name.

650,000 men left Ukraine when war broke out. They are less keen on this fight than you. Currently there are attacks on draft officers in Ukraine. Men hide and risk their lives to avoid being kidnapped. This refutes any thesis that this war is popular or that the people of Ukraine see it as one of survival of the country.

The EU does not see Russians as human. Even mainstream people expressed views, in public, that Russians were lesser.

The war didn't start with Putin's invasion. That's intellectually vapid. There was ethnic strife for decades, Zelensky regime and EU looked the other way when non-state actors committed atrocities. They tried ethnically cleaning the Russian language. They even decided what the "real" Orthodox Christian church was.

And now in 2025 Elections were cancelled. Polls show Zelensky would likely lose.

He is a dictator. He uses violent thugs to silence opposition.

This war isn't our responsibility.

There is no moral high ground.

Let them fight on their own.

The vast majority on here have shown zero understanding of how and why we are here and what Trump is trying to do.

You think this is about an ego and a winner and loser? The hubris.

For those of you that don't understand...

Persuasion tip:

If you are negotiating with Putin, you compliment him while being extra tough on terms. That sets the tone for mutual respect. You need that to get the best deal.

If you are trying to persuade Zelensky to go along, you make sure he knows how expensive it will be to resist. You slap him hard, in public, and don't apologize.

Treating Putin and Zelensky the same in this context would be a huge negotiating mistake.

Trump's approach seems shocking to many Americans because they've never seen anyone this good at negotiating. He's pitch perfect in technique.

Putin is in the same weight class as Trump, as far as persuasion skills, which is rare. It's a fair contest. But I suspect they both see a MUTUAL big win opportunity that could be historic.

Watch and learn.

I don't think people have a problem agreeing Putin is a bad guy.

But why are people so DEMANDING that we worship the Great Z and his Blue and Yellow Empire of Most Sovereignty?

It's tiring to see any criticism of Ukraine, Zelenskyy etc is constantly met with Putin propaganda accusations and dismissal as a Putin puppet.

It is absolutely acceptable to not support Ukraine and want a peaceful solution to the conflict without awarding Putin the Nobel peace prize and demand we erect statues across America of him shirtless on horseback.

It is possibly to debate without always accusing Trump or anyone else of being in bed with Putin and those most evil Russians.

Because they look like dip****s and want to emotionally blackmail everyone else who didn't support the resistance*
