DOJ has prosecutorial discretion and it is better than NYC being a sanctuary city.

Delaware Joe pulled a Delaware, the same thing he's been doing in his home state for years. Anyone critical of him is suddenly under investigation. They found some dirt on Adams and went after him the second he criticized the Biden immigration policies.

The thing about Federal fishing expeditions is they will always find something to charge their target with if they want it bad enough. The US criminal code is so dense there's no official count on how many crimes even exist. If they want to charge you, they will find something with which to charge you.

The guys on 2Way were talking about this. Trump is a totally transactional person, and getting Adams off the hook he now has the mayor of the largest city in the US, a deep blue city and sanctuary city, going to play ball on immigration.

A nice side effect being he gets to take credit for cleaning up NYC and have that chip over the bluebloods in NY & CT who work in the City.
