I try not to live in the realm of emotions.

But seeing a mere human among us do the things that this man is doing all at once....... This man may be hated by the loud left now..... but history will remember him well when his haters are all forgotten.

We are capable of achievement beyond what we can dream.
So let us dream of what awaits us in the stars beyond.

Man was made to explore - to adventure - to discovery - and made for bringing order to chaos by subduing the Earth ( Gen 1:28 ) . We draw closer to being able to do this in places beyond the Earth itself.

Maybe our sons actually will walk on Mars. Our grandsons on Triton or Ganymede.

To me, the landing catch is even more amazing. Musk is one smart dude and I'm thankful he is leading the audit of the federal government.

There may not be another person on the planet able to do it that has the intelligence, respect, track record, and wealth he has and not have to worry about the repurcussions from the back benchers and leaches that have never accomplished anything of note in their entire miserable lives.

Add balls of steel courage to that.

He knows what a target he is.

To even think of catching a 20+ story tall rocket coming down from space with giant robotic arms is ludicrous. Actually doing it is stunning.

This has always been the American way. What got in the way is the federal government and the mainstream media have been the American people's and such dream's enemy for many decades. All this century and part of the last.

Much is still possible. But not with the self-aggrandizing regressive mindset of those that comprise those institutions as they are now.

Great soundtrack from a great movie. It's one of those movies I'll sit down and watch anytime it's on.

I'm going to bring this tidbit here since he's famous for creating and playing a parody of a Bond Villain, Dr. Evil. And some people are likening Musk to Dr. Evil.

But quite honestly the Marxists feed on cynicism. It's how they grow and thrive, when society is cynical. But Elon is just a brilliant man that's really reteaching the world what it looks like to dream big dreams.

Back in 2020, Mike Myers was on Rob Lowe's podcast and he made a striking and insightful observation about America as an American immigrant of British and Canadian heritage. Like most comedians of Myers age, you actually don't know that much about his politics, but I'm sure Myers is pretty liberal, but I think he touches on something that runs counter to the Marxist way and it's why they can't seem to get their footing right now. Because there is finally a group of leaders like Trump and Musk that are retapping into the American DNA. Which Myers talks about in his own way as a creator here. Myers is really addressing the retraction that was going on in America because of Covid. But he's making a broader statement here as well.

Quote:

Yeah, me too. It doesn't seem American to me.[cynicism] I have to say having British parents and having lived in Canada, one of the things that I always love about America is this sort of sense.

Like if you make anything, this is the best place in the worldbecause nobody in Canada, it's really much less in Britain, less so in Canada now, but it's who do you think you are? In America, it's very much who do you want to be? And it just, this kind of cynicism just doesn't feel like it's in America's nature.

America's nature is let's go do it, man. Let's make it. That's what I love about, you know, I became a citizen, took the oath, take it seriously.

My kids are American. I love the United States. They're sort of out of character right now.

It's very strange.

I can tell you, as somebody of English heritage, you know, cynicism, you know, who do you think you are as opposed to who do you want to be, which is America's true nature. It's the can-do thing is so infectious and so right on. And so what we all, those of us who are lucky enough to be allowed into this country and have lived in other countries, we admire that so much.

And I know it's corny, but it's true. Being somebody who's made things his entire life, I'm so grateful to the United States for just having the whole mindset of let's go make something.

I believe this sentiment is catching fire right now. Much like it did in the 1920s, 1950s, and 1980s. The cynicism of Marxism is taking a real beating right now and I'm hopeful it continues for a very long time.

Yeah that's great, the judicial branch isn't real if it runs afoul of the Musk Junta, sounds perfect and not troubling at all

Maybe he meant tge humorous part is "Harry Bolz", but great job displaying the cynicism being referred to by policywonk98.
