I loved how the Super Bowl crowd cheered President Trump and booed Taylor Swift. As a 49ers fan, who voted for Trump 3 times, I am glad the Eagles won, but I saw some threads about Trump rooting for the Chiefs and jinxing them.

Chiefs players said "it's a great honor" to have Trump watching the Super Bowl. Jalen Hurts said "He's welcome to do whatever he wants" dismissing him instead. The Eagles won tonight. Fly, Eagles fly!

The last decade has destroyed creativity in advertising.

The drive to politicize everything, BLM, etc., etc., led to weird demographic representation, overt preaching from the progressive playbook and a massive decline in humor.

The only constant was that white men were stupid.

Now that it's clear that approach has failed, all the major ad agencies have to fall back on is stuffing poorly conceived commercials with lots of celebrities.

My biggest gripe with the "hate" video wasn't Snoop, but the fact that it was so unnecessary. Just stirring the pot to make sure that "hate" remains a boogey-man, especially since the "party of hate" just got elected into office. Huge eye-roller there.

Same with the Nike "women can't win" ad. Who ever said the BS voice-over crap that women aren't good enough to win? No one, unless it was followed by "if a man pretending to be a woman is competing with them".

No others stood out. Halftime was "WTF is this?"

Game was redemption. For those who say "Mahomes doesn't cheat" -- sure, he plays within the rules but takes advantage of them and then gets other teams penalized. He invented the fake running out of bounds and now flops and gets calls when he gets hit near the sideline. Master of the late slide.

I hate the Eagles too, but like Jalen Hurts a lot. Saquan too.

I hope I wasn't the only one confused by the half time show. I'm old and not hip with pop culture. Intentionally.

Watching it, I thought it was just ok; seemed cheaper than some previous shows; I didn't really hear or understand the lyrics. I saw on the super bowl thread on the premium forum that the virtue signal de jour was that if you didn't like that performance, you're racist. ...but then my three teenagers, who all love rap music and used to like Kendrick Lamar as far as I knew, got home last night from their various parties and it sounds like the consensus from all of them and their friends was that the show sucked. Now I'm seeing online the liberal consensus seems to be that it was some sort of masterpiece, mocking conservatives with Samuel L's caricature, talking about how we chose the wrong guy (Trump), and how a revolution in the streets is necessary. Apparently the performance also included some digs at Drake and Jay Z. I never would have known about a dig at another rapper or thought it was genius masterpiece.

Unfortunately it's not the National Anthem. It's the Anthem for every US citizen except "liberal" AAs.
