Scott Bessent stated in a recent interview that 2 of the Doge people are considered Treasury personnel. Bessent mentioned that he interviewed 1 of the Doge team members personally.

Would that mean that they are not limited by this TRO / injunction?

Edit to add link:

Basically that interview:

Woman: Im a dumb**** DEI hire who spent the last two weeks reading reddit threads and have little-to no critical thinking skills. I get to ask ******ed ass questions because of the color of my skin and unfortunate mole and you can only push-back nicely because if you laugh at me and end the interview, I will call you a racist because you are a straight white old man........ so here are my questions.

Treasury guy: You're a ******. That's not what's happening at all. Go tell all of your internet friends, and update your resume because you're going to need a new job.

People against what DOGE is trying to accomplish and reducing government waste are truly low IQ individuals, grifters, and welfare leeches. Drains on this country that have never produced anything in their lives.

They will do everything possible to keep the truth from being exposed which to me absolutely means the truth needs to not only be exposed but broadcast far and wide. This is OUR money.

Once the numbers get totaled it needs to be presented in a cost per taxpayer format.

Bessent also referenced the "Grace Report" which was actually the Grace Commission, requested by Ronald Reagan:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grace_Commission

Quote:

The Grace Commission report[4] was presented to Congress in January 1984. The report claimed that if its recommendations were followed, $424 billion could be saved in three years, rising to $1.9 trillion per year by the year 2000. It estimated that the national debt, without these reforms, would rise to $13 trillion by the year 2000, while with the reforms they projected it would rise to only $2.5 trillion.[5] The report's recommendations that intruded into policy were ignored by Congress, but many other efficiency recommendations were considered and some were implemented.[6]

The US national debt reached $5.6 trillion in the year 2000[7][8] and reached 13 trillion in 2010 after the Great Recession.

The report said that one-third of all income taxes are consumed by waste and inefficiency in the federal government, and another one-third escapes collection owing to the underground economy. "With two thirds of everyone's personal income taxes wasted or not collected, 100 percent of what is collected is absorbed solely by interest on the federal debt and by federal government contributions to transfer payments. In other words, all individual income tax revenues are gone before one nickel is spent on the services that taxpayers expect from their government."[5]
Read the last paragraph twice. Our tax policy was a PONZI SCHEME. And this was in the 1980s.

This proves that there are actually TRILLIONS in cuts that are possible, if you just roll up your sleeves and do the dirty work that it takes.

Luckily, we have AI and Elon and his stable geniuses and a Chief Executive who demands cuts. Cuts shouldnt take more than 6-12 months to identify.

That's what the order appears to say
I guess that leads to the question whether they passed the background and security checks. I would think Trump could just declare they've passed the checks and keep going. This order doesn't seem too difficult to work around.

Edit to add: Based on the interview with Bessent, it seems to me it doesn't apply to those 2. Someone didn't do their homework. This TRO is a complete waste of time.

Add these AG's to the RICO, Obstruction of Justice and Money Laundering charges. That'll shut'em up pretty quick.
One of the AG's suing is this ANTIFA aligned radical extremist:

I guess it's time for the Left and the MSM to update their talking points --

Audits of governmental payments

That last one seems like a tough sell, but plenty of suckers bought the first two, so who knows?

Maybe Trump should dust off the quote from Andrew Jackson, his favorite president. "You have made your ruling, now go enforce it ".

President Trump should be supported by the Republican majority and whenever he hits a roadblock Congress should pass a single page law to remove said roadblock.

None of this pain in the ass waiting for SCOTUS while we suffer from corruption.

A coalition of mostly Democratic-led U.S. states filed a lawsuit on Friday to stop a Trump administration panel led by billionaire Elon Musk from accessing government systems used to process trillions of dollars in payments.

The 19 states led by the office of New York Attorney General Letitia James, a Democrat, claim Musk's Department of Government Efficiency has no legal power to access the U.S. Department of Treasury systems that contain personal information on millions of Americans.

The lawsuit in Manhattan federal court says Musk and his team could disrupt federal funding for health clinics, preschools, climate initiatives, and other programs, and that Republican President Donald Trump could use the information to further his political agenda.

Well no **** you ignorant *****, and that's why we voted for him.

Lawsuits also have been filed seeking to block DOGE from accessing data at the U.S. Department of Labor and the Department of Education.
You know the corruption is WAY bigger than the crap they found at USAID. They're scared ****less that their theft of our money is going to be brought out into the light and cutoff. Both Left and Right taxpayers should demand that all is revealed.

What are they trying so hard to keep hidden?
I would rather have Elon Musk with my information than the corrupt blood sucking demoRATS.

So you aren't trying to block the spending? You are trying to block an audit? I'm not a finance guy, but would this be possible in the private sector?

I'm in audit. The more you tell me you don't want to provide me what I'm asking for the more I'm going to scrutinize your ass. And no, it's not possible. Ive been in this twenty years and only twice have I had to go the "let's take it to the board" card. Audit, at least on the private sector, always get what they want.

Just one more example that public officials are corrupt as hell.

There is a reason we have a Freedom of Information Act.
