My comment wasn't about the number of HD trucks, it was about the number of idiot HD truck drivers who squat in the left lane and apparently are too stupid to 1) use Bluetooth with their phone and 2) understand the "left lane is for passing only" sign.

My experience has also been that trucks are the worst offenders of obstructing traffic in the passing lane

I seriously think that we should have a separate, stricter driving test for pickup trucks. Prove that you can actually handle and park a taller and heavier vehicle, so you're not a threat to everyone else on the road.

Trucks are great when they're actually used as work vehicles, but nowadays there are way too many suburban office drones who just use them as male compensation devices.
