Joe pardoned his mafia family, his crackhead son, and commuted sentences for people that raped children.
If you think that people who were invited into the Capitol who walked around for a few minutes deserve more in the gulag, you're a piece of *****
Good to know that you think people that assaulted law enforcement should get to go free with no repercussions.
I've already made my opinion on those that walked around for a few minutes known.
Many cops got assaulted during riots, many people didnt get charged for assault. I bet you werent here saying they should go to jail.

Then they get time served. I'm just glad that you're now concerned about pre-trial incarceration.
Why were they denied bail?
I don't know. There are factors, flight risk is one of them. But you'd have to look at each individual case to find out why. And I'm not doing that for you.

No, I think they should.

1500 people to be released tonight.

True. If a cop comes blasting through my door executing a search warrant and they're at the wrong house, I would hope that a jury would be on my side because I thought I was being robbed.
Jake Langs J6 case is being dropped! 👏🏻

Four freaking years in prison without a trial! I don’t care who did what, this should not happen to anyone in America! https://t.co/o57DZ0VYhV

It's really disgusting that you're defending this bull***** I hope to God nothing like this ever happens to you.
Trump was right when he called them hostages that's exactly what they have been.
Every single one of them should be released. Period.
I'm embarrassed for you.
I'm embarrassed for you that you think people that assaulted law enforcement officers should be released carte blanche.

Unreal that there are 1500 still in jail for that.
It’s official I just got word from my attorney I am a Free man with a FULL and UNCONDITIONAL PARDON!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Thank you Lord!
Thank you @realDonaldTrump @MarinaMedvin
And everyone who worked on this and everyone of you who supported us! We love you all.…
When I first found out about the pardons. It has been a roller coaster of emotions over the last 4 years. https://t.co/ehuzTKL7qJ

Can’t say this is the way I imagined it would all go down - Inauguration Day, about 15 clients released from jail, a lot of tears shed, and a dozen or so dismissal motions coming across the wire.

I guess that warrants a celebration with a $10 Modelo in the SF Airport while I… pic.twitter.com/v4LK0dkt63
Quote:
The presidential pardon should lead to the immediate release of those incarcerated. According to one jail employee, the process of releasing individuals following a pardon typically takes several days and is not instantaneous.
Despite the uncertainty, the families and friends outside the detention facility held onto hope. They waited to see if their loved ones would walk out of the jail's doors, marking what they described as a significant victory for justice and reform.
Arrest all of the guards now

If DC is refusing to release pardoned J6 prisoners, should Congress repeal DC Home Rule—putting Congress back in charge of our capital city, as the Constitution provides?
— Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) January 21, 2025
Is DC ignoring Trump’s pardons?
— Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) January 21, 2025
If this is, then it’s *definitely* time to repeal DC Home Rule
DC’s government has no right to exist constitutionally
Congress shouldn’t have delegated its lawmaking authority over DC
Time to take it back

People that assaulted cops and vandalized the Capital need to stay in jail. The rest have paid their price.
And yes, the people that assaulted cops and vandalized buildings during the Floyd riots need to be in jail, too. Most of that was state crime, so good luck. Federal crimes should all be treated the same (like the federal courthouse that was vandalized)..

No, the Floyd rioters who assaulted police officers and did vandalism and arson could also be charged with a Federal Crime. Plenty of different laws on the books they could use during a riot.dmart90 said:

Vandalism? That's a pretty broad interpretation that can be applied.dmart90 said:

Since a lot of them were traveling from state to state to foment the violence, definitely a federal crime that Bill Barr chose not to enforce (with one exception to my memory, he did arrest the people running the food truck operations to feed the rioters moving from state to state,)Quote:

And they were not charged. This is why ALL J6 hostages should be released.
And most of those people were tracked down and seized using unlawful means.84AGEC said:
No question that they are political prisoners and have been treated as such. While such behavior at other places were dismissed.
And there is a reason Joe pardon the committee for destroying that would have proven innocent.
1500 persons incarcerated for the actions of a few dozen.
I'm actually curious why Trump didn't carve out an exclusion for Feds and Fed affiliates.Mas89 said:No, the Floyd rioters who assaulted police officers and did vandalism and arson could also be charged with a Federal Crime.
