And that is what is very gratifying. Trump can un-do most of what he did for 4 years as AG. Thankfully we avoided a much bigger impact if he had been confirmed to a lifetime appointment on the SC. A bit of thanks is appropriate for old "War Turtle" McConnell who refused to vote on Merrick's holdover appointment from Obama. For all the shots he takes for being a RINO -- some of which are warranted -- he was absolute nails in rejecting Garland and getting 3 of Trump's appointees on the court, including the last one (Amy Barrett) who was a last minute opportunity following Ginsburg's passing.

I think it is so Biden can name an interim from the career ag staff. Then Trump has to fire them if his nominee drags out. Trump had to deal with a few problems children in 2017.

Treason is a capital offense, Name ANY OTHER govt. officials in the HISTORY of America more treasonous than these three (Benedict Arnold ) excluded. Alejandro Mayorkas, Merrick Garland and Biden are also serial killers at this point. Just think of the # of murders, rapes and kidnapping they are responsible for at this point, Their body count will only grow in the upcoming years BY THE HUNDREDS!!!! Nothing is going to happen to them, but in a perfect World after a fair trial and found guilty, Alejandro Mayorkas and Merrick Garland deserve that sentence

The interim will be the deputy attorney general under the vacancies act.

A bit of a side bar. Treason is betraying your nation to a foreign power. SEDITION is attempting to overthrow or subvert and unlawfully impede the authority and operation of the lawful and legitimate government domestically. They are very different things, semantically and legally. Much of our federal bureaucratic leadership was seditious against the first Trump presidency and constitutional federal government. One could argue sedition in the USA is attempting to subvert constitutional government by unlawful means, so it is a crime against the constitutional authority in general instead of the executive office.

He can if he chooses to. But the general practice is that cabinet members resign when new president takes offuce.

Good points. I think Garland and Mayorkas are mainly guilty of sedition, while the Biden crime familia is largely guilty of treason (bought off by Chinese and Russian interests/billionaires).

Even using DDG I can't find a single good/credible piece outlining how Garland is guilty of sedition, which is pathetic, because he clearly is imho. He wouldn't even comment, let alone investigate, the obvious money laundering and crimes the Biden clan was guilty of:

At least Peepaw himself threw Garland under the bus so ol' Merrick knows he has no friends anywhere after trashing the DoJ.

And he's always been a crook and cover up artist. Most still don't know about his role in Patcon, rounding up patriots in the FBI to make sure it was commie even back then.

Good effing riddance, glad to know America got a little stronger last night.
