Three ways to fix this.

1. Stop eating processed and complex foods. You can eat healthy and still enjoy the meal. People want to just grab a box and microwave it though because it's easier.

2. Count calories until you understand the numbers. After that it's really simple to make sure you're consuming the same amount you're expending. If you are still actively trying to lose weight, make sure you are expending more than you're taking in.

3. Bring back fat shaming. Every time I put on a few extra pounds, the guys at the gym give me crap about it until I do something about it. Everybody needs a little push now and again.

Bonus. Cut out all alcohol and limit your desserts. This does wonders.

It really is this simple.

Fast and water to purge parasites as well.

Where are you living where you are worried about parasites? Weird thing to worry about in USA.

A few thoughts:

1. How many Americans are on some sort of anti-depressant? I'm sure that those drugs take your willpower from you, or at least push the concerns about being overweight back with all of your other anxieties.

2. Europe (and most other countries) are fundamentally smaller and set up differently than the U.S. In Europe, many folks live in the city, with most of what they need within walking distance. Americans want land, cars and distance from their neighbors. It's going to be almost impossible to get the same community organization here (although there are pockets of planned communities and living spaces over commercial that are similar).

3. The distance we move food is different here. In Europe, a lot more of the staples are produced close to home and don't need the same processing for transport that U.S. produce needs. It also allows European farmers to pick crops based on flavor and nutritional value instead of just being hardy for transport.

That drug really works well. But yeah that hunger side effect is very real. I know some people have tried other anxiety meds and had success due to this side effect. But if it's working for you, stay on it.

Obesity is definitely a growing issue, and I agree, not sure what the solution is. Fortunately, there are more and more people who think about their health and start managing their weight before facing serious issues. In addition to lifestyle changes, treatments like Ozempic are gaining attention for their benefits in weight management and diabetes control. I've found it helpful in my own journey. However, my insurance company doesn't cover it, so I have to buy Ozempic online as I can find a cheaper option there. And I know this is the reason why many people switch to other meds.

In my lifetime it's never been easier to be healthy. If people are tubs of goo it's almost always their fault. They would rather blame others.

The fat positive influencers need to go away.

I just went to San Francisco and LA two weeks ago. Not only did I see zero needles and feces on the sidewalk, I saw very few obese people.

I don't understand how you mfers get so fat.

I got an email today from my work's benefits provider offering generic Ozympic and Zepbound.

I'm all for medically necessary medication, but can't we push eating better and being more active before throwing needles at people?

Go watch a podcast with Casey and Callie Means.

This right here. Casey (I think - the brother) was on the Michael Berry show a few years back and I happened to catch almost all of the interview. I was extremely intrigued by what he was saying and started looking into things on my own.

Our domestic food supply is pure garbage. Even if you honestly try to do better, there are so many hidden calories and crap in our food supply that it can be 100x harder to make a difference. It's unbelievable how much crap gets mixed in our food.

Most people aren't losing weight because of all the junk in our food and the fact that we have a culture dependent on sitting in front of a computer all day. Not to mention the mental health issues that are often left untreated due to our country's atrocious health care policies. It's not about the lack of"effort", it's policy failures on almost every front.

The food industry and "culture" prevent you from going outside for a walk?
No, but if it were really just that easy then we wouldn't have most of the issue we do have.

I'm not disagreeing that as a populace we collectively should get out and do more, but the simpleton mindset of "just do more!" is exactly that - simpleton and doesn't address the massive amount of underlying issues that have been created in the food industry specifically to get people to eat more of bad food across the board.

You can lose weight eating triple cheeseburgers from In N Out. You just dont eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner with fries, large coke and a shake

But today, we went to Eggsquisite Cafe in Mansfield for breakfast. There were 6 other men in the restaurant.

Every one of them were at least 100 lbs heavier than me. Every. Single. One. And a couple of them were at least 450-500 lbs.

Just insane how bad things have gotten. Not sure what can be done, but best of hopes to RFK Jr to do whatever the feds can do.
I battle it...... combination of food choices and genetics. Im at about 40 pounds overweight. Ultimately, I have to own it.

What's worse are dating apps, so many single people under 40 are morbidly obese. You realize that if women arent using full body pics that they likely have filters that make their face look skinny while theyre likely at least 250lbs...

I can't believe there are still people out there arguing that there is not a serious food quality problem in the USA.

When the food causes inflammation and bloating even when you eat "healthy" (because the dressing is loaded with oils and sugar) then it is really hard to want to workout and be active.

Glyphosate is inert and has no nutritional value.
Pesticides were MUCH more dangerous in the 50's.
So I would also question if her other "statistics" are genuine, or pulled directly from her lower orifice.

If anyone is interested in what is really responsible for the obesity epidemic and health issues, sit up in your recliner, put down your smart phone, open up your laptop, and search physical activity. The magical little screen will show pictures of people doing things…

When a body designed to hunt and gather spends all day every day sitting on a cushion staring at a screen, bad things happen.

Sure you can. If you eat a single chicken mcnugget and run marathons every day. I mean, anything is really possible if you twist the numbers just right.

Those medications still require eating better and being active...or they won't work at all but for a very short period. If you still eat crap your insides are going to let you know in a horrible way. Many employers make it a requirement of approving those meds that, in addition to even being eligible with pre existing conditions, you have to also participate monthly in weight management apps that track weight, food, and activity through your phone. Its the way it should be done. They're definitely not long term fixes.

Before people say thyroid issues or low metabolism that's a very small percentage of people.
