There is no room for violence in this country over political differences. In this country we have vigorous debate and dialogue over political differences. The images and the video of the assassin walking up to the door is absolutely terrifying. There is no room for this in this country.

The killer parked his car in front of my house and approached my door with his pistol drawn and what appears to be a crossbow. I was livestreaming at the time.

Brah...I do not support these actions, but I am also not stupid enough to make "being a nazi white nationalist" my complete internet shtick. I am shocked this didn't happen sooner TBH. I would be terrified to show my face in public if I were him.

The First Amendment protects you from government action inhibiting your freedom of speech. It doesn't absolve you from the other consequences associated with being an outspoken advocate of stupid/unpopular ideas and never has. Doesn't make it "right" but people have been subjected to the FAAFO principle as it pertains to speech since colonial times.

Ok, how about this. MURDER LAWS were passed to protect people from being MURDERED. The only justification in the law for murder is defense of self or a third person in the event that somebody physically, violently attacks you or a third person.
