I don't get the whole theatre world and the people who live it, but they probably think the same about people who love and play sports, or hunt/fish, etc. But if that's her thing, so be it.

Since the play is about LBGT+++ issues, do you think she should recuse herself, if these issues come to the SCOTUS?

The issue is that it's hilarious and sad at the same time.

She knows about as much about Broadway as she does about the Constitution and SCOTUS.

She is a midget in both venues.

Add to that the eye-rolling adulation the liberals give her because she is liberal, not because she has intellect or accomplishments. They so desperately want another RBG so they can touch the hem of her judicial robe and be healed.

It is beneficial for the rest of us, appearing in a play full of LQBTABCDEF themes tells us her bias on those issues.

Another consideration, I'm sure there are tens of thousands who dream of being on Broadway. She stepped on top of them going to the head of the line because she is a powerful politician.

That is sad and dangerous, regardless of party.

It's the same thing, IMO. It will be impossible to find any justice that doesn't have outside hobbies that align with their beliefs. All we can hope for is they look at a case objectively, which if we're honest with ourselves, they all have a bit of bias.
