If you visit the Outdoors board, you've likely seen this - but for those that haven't.

I homeschool my son and try to work in as many real world lessons as practicable.

As a 10 year old autistic boy, he has had lots of wonderful people help him make tons of progress. Now he is learning the value in helping others.

He loves to fish and one of the places we have been working with is a local children's hospital. He knows these kids (many who live there years at a time) don't get the chance to go fishing...so he wants to bring the fish to them.

He is partnering CAST for Kids and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife and Conservation to make it happen.

Check out this news story that aired last night and if it is something you feel moved to support, follow the link at the end of the article.

Thanks for checking it out.

You know how awesome I think you are.
But raising a kid to do this is absolutely mindblowing.

Just wow.

Thanks for the kind words and the donations.

He is quite the kid. Pretty sure he has taught me more than I have him.

That is so awesome. What a terrific young man who was blessed to have an amazing father. You're heart must be swelling up with pride.
