A few days back, I started a thread on the methane reducing milk being secretly foisted (and tested) on the Brits. Today, I happened to see a reference to this link on X. It shows how to stop Gates et al in their tracks. BTW, not usually big on boycotts, as they can be an instrument of the cancel culture.

I thought this probably deserved its own thread. I think this says a lot (unfortunately) about the bad place it is to be citizen in Britain today. I wonder if they started to do their own boycott if it wouldn't be a matter of time before the arrests would begin?

Most importantly, a tip of my hat to Elon; without X we would be in a much darker world.

Most Brits seem to enjoy their socialistic way of life and being told by their government how they will live.

To bad, English milk puts Wisconsin milk to shame. IMHO

Really? I didn't know that. Is it the grass the cows eat over there? Do they use Holsteins?

More evidence "climate change" has become a religion.

Climate change is very similar to the AHA food pyramid. It is funded by BIg Corp / Big Pharma as a way to force the population to rely on their products versus what is available naturally. While there likely is some truth the big scare is well beyond what is reported.

They have Channel Island milk, which has a higher fat and protein content than regular milk.

Found this in the linked article. This is what cows do when the other cows make too much methane.

probable some, but they probable are using more jerseys cows or other cows that produce higher fat in their milk.

You can get similar milk in the US, it's just not the standard for fluid milk in most of the country

Europeans, including the English, also don't usually refrigerate their milk before opening. They rely on ultra high heat pasteurization. Different process than ours, but some say it tastes different.

My uncle had a dairy farmer in Florida. He used to sell to Seltest and always had a higher butter fat than they required. I drank this milk raw while growing up. We also had a little white faced Herford cow that my mom milked sitting on a brick since she was so low to the ground. Her name was Buttercup. I love whole milk but it isn't as good as what I had growing up.

Daughter went on a study abroad to Costa Rica. They ultra pasteurize their milk, and don't refrigerate it.

I think organic is total hogwash, but I buy organic milk, because it is the only milk available that is ultra pasteurized. It will last two months in the fridge.

I have two young boys, milk doesn't last a week in our fridge. I remember when I was young and calories didn't matter.

Why do you think we don't have Channel Island milk here? All my neighbors in East Texas either have Jersey or Guernsey cows (Channel Island cows).

Because it hasn't been pasteurized. That kills the taste and the good biotics.

It's in their DNA. Everyone who wanted to take control of their own destiny left for America 200+ years ago.
