This is the famous "see how your neighbors voted" map that is released by local news services every two years that shows how every precinct in Texas voted.

Most shocking to me is Trump won two precincts on Telephone road adjacent to Hobby Airport, Trump won countless precincts north of 610 but south of beltway 8 on the north side, Trump lost Alief by just 2 points, Trump won a precinct by 3 points that is located in between highway 6 and Alief, and Trump won two large precincts in Sharpstown by 8 and 5 points respectively (east of beltway 8, west of 59, north of beechnut, and south of bellaire). There is also a bunch of red in Pasadena. Trump even won a precinct by 5 points that is Hillcroft between Westpark Tollway and Westheimer.

These areas are definitely not traditional Republican areas in the Houston area like The Woodlands, Cypress, Katy, Memorial, Kingwood, Pecan Grove, Klein, Tomball, Friendswood, League City, and Pearland.

Trump and his brand of conservative populism is expanding the map for the Republican Party.

Don't answer, but I am assuming either Memorial, Memorial Villages, or River Oaks.

Trump won our district by 43%. We didn't have a lot of campaign signs in the neighborhood but they were all for Trump. I'm envious of the area just a few miles north of us that Trump won with a margin of 62%. I was up there on Halloween and there were Trump signs at nearly every other house. Not a single Harris sign.

In my neighborhood on Halloween there were some trick or treaters dressed as garbage men with orange safety vests.

Demographics may have changed over the years, but from my memory that list in your summary is an affirmation that minorities in several Houston area neighborhoods swung way over to Trump, like many others across the country.

Definitely. The areas I listed are in Harris County. These are traditional Democrat areas that are swinging Republican because Trump is promoting a message of conservative populism. It is quite shocking to see. If Trump can deliver on his agenda in the next four years then he can permanently bring some of these voters over.

My precinct is effin hysterical. All the signs are gone at least. And the neighborhood wasn't subjected to hours of honking cars like 2020.

Socialism. It's in India's constitution

The constitution declares India a sovereign, socialist, secular, and democratic republic.

I didn't know that. That is quite shocking.

I was born and raised in Pflugerville and that town doesn't look anything like it did when I was growing up. I moved out a little bit ago and it's changed even more in that short time!

Started clicking on precincts in Bowie County. There is a precinct (5B) that went 100% Kamala. I clicked on it and it only has 2 registered voters and only one voted. There are some more tiny precincts up there. Seems like they could combine them.

I always thought of the 09 as conservative, but most of it was blue or barely pink. Looks like Terrell Hills and part of Oak Park are the red areas.

I'm in a light blue area. I had a pro-Trump yard sign. My neighbors haven't spoken to me since I put it up.

It's gonna be an interesting time here.

Its been extremely capitalist since the 1990s, regardless of the constitution.

The country has moved to be more capitalist, but it still has a significant socialist underpinning and history. And these folks who have moved here are voting socialist. It's like voting for old comforts.

Yes seeing all the blue near Kyle and Buda, and around Round Rock is quite weird in a presidential year that Texas shifted 8.5 points Republican. Looks like the Leftism hasn't spread to Leander or Georgetown though.

I believe one day they will vote much more Republican like Latinos are in the most recent election. I believe they will gravitate to the message of educational and workplace merit, law and order, safe streets, low taxes, support for law enforcement, pro-border security, and anti-illegal immigration. I believe they are already culturally conservative. As we have seen with Latinos when a group is culturally conservative it is just a matter of time before they become politically conservative.

Maybe, although they came to Plano for the education. They seem to value education and advancing a career, but then they vote blue
